The free breakfast was a bit disapointing donuts toast and cereal. There was no protein or fresh fruit at all.

I liked absolutely nothing, we checked out after 30 Min's. It was dirty, nasty, and the women at the front desk was very rude. When we arrived the woman at the front desk was demanding and rude. she made me uncomfortable. it took us 20 to 30 Min's to find the room. when we did we took one look and said there was no way we could stay there. we left, went down the road to a La Quinta Inn and book a very nice room. then we went back and checked out, the woman was rude again. I was very disappointed since i had to spend money on 2 hotels.

Boy, were we disappointed! Rooms felt really dirty. There was no microwave as advertised. Coffee pot didnt work. Pool was unusable. Geographical area in Norfolk was scary. Paper thin walls and people yelling all night. We felt very unsafe and left before we originally intended because it was just too unsatisfactory! Very Subpar. Will avoid ever reserving a room sight unseen from this chain again.

Not at all what I expected. The room didn't get cleaned two of the 5 days we were there. The breakfast room was O.K. The overall appearance is not very nice and it isn't in the best part of town.

It was close to where I was working. The place overall was a dump. Loud music all night long andWIFI signal was almost non existent the entire stay.

Everyone here was very helpful. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and did a good job. If we had a question example -on where something was, they helped us find it or looked it up for us!! Would stay there again for sure!!!!

You are right on the middle of shopping centers and restaurants, only minutes from virginia beach. The staff were very nice and helpful to all of our needs. I would recommend to anybody and we are planning on staying there again.

It wasconvenientto shopping area. The bed in the room was cheesy. Hotel was well placed for shopping/restaurants. Inexpensive. Nice heated pool indoors. Clean inside and out.

I knew of the Best Value Inn when I lived in Norfolk a few years ago; but I didn't know how nice it is. Large rooms, quiet setting. Wonderful pool and hot tub. Close to everything you would want to see in Va Beach, Norfolk, Williamsburg. I would recommend it highly.

I called twice before arriving to ensure a crib was set up in our room since we were arriving late, and although the crib was noted, there was not one in the room. The man at the front desk upon arrival was very sarcastic and short which didn't help matters at 11:30 at night. The room was dirty...carpets stained, dirt along edges, hair in bathroom, etc. And out of date...wallpaper beginning to peel, old microwave and refrigerator, old tub insert, etc. The pictures on this place's website are deceiving.

We circled around the interstates 3 times before we spotted the access road to the hotel. The staff was always very friendly, and never failed to provide extra towels or pillows as requested. It was located close to many resaurants as well as shopping, so that was great. Our room was clean, though the beds were very uncomfortable. The grounds, especially around the pools, often had trash laying around. There were supposed to be towels by the pool, but the only time we saw any were if we got to the pool before noon. Over all it was a pleasant stay, worth what we paid for the room. The worst thing was probably the heavy door at the end of the hall. Our room was 2 doors down, and this interior door would slam shut after anyone went through it. I never heard other guests in the hallways, but I heard that door slamming all night long. But it was really nice having an indoor and an outdoor pool plus hot tub.

I like being close to malls and restaurants and my kids that live in Norfolk. The internet wasn't available and there wasn't a microwave in the room. The beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious with enough chairs to sit in, so guests didn't need to sat on the bed. The table was nice with enough room for laptops and food.

Got there 4 hours before check in because we didn't expect the drive to go so fast and they were very generous about giving us a temp pass for the pool and pool house which had bathrooms and showers. They checked us in the first open room (2 hours early without a fuss at all) The room was very clean and the maid service was excellent. Continental breakfast was boring but acceptable for a freebee. We went to be central to family and VA Beach and this hotel is right in the middle of everything-Walmart, mall, grocery store, 20 or more restaraunts within 2-3 miles. VA Beach and resort area about 15-20 min drive. Downtown Norfolk about 10-15 minutes away. No equipment in the fitness room but one treadmill, but pool was nice for laps. Stayed for 6 nights in a very comfortable bed with no complaints. Definitly will stay again. GREAT BARGAIN!!

I suppose for the money this wasn't a horrible accomodaton. The front desk staff person I had the displeasure of interacting with was lacking in customer service technique. The ice machines were either broken or out of ice most of the time. The bed was the worst I have every encountered in a hotel. There just really needs to be some work put into this facility.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The facility was clean and landscaped beautifully. Our room was clean upon our arrival. They had some personnel problems while we were there. The housekeeper left unexpectedly and our room had no maid service for 2 days. The first day without housekeeping we did not get clean towels, even though we called the front desk and went personally to the front desk. Apparently the missing housekeeper took the keys with her. The second day without housekeeping we did get clean towels delivered to our room upon our request. The place is charming and has lots of potential. They just need to get their personnel issues worked out. The continental breakfast was well stocked and provided a nice variety of muffins, bagels, toast, doughnuts, cereal, oatmeal and grits. Coffee and juice were the available beverages. To keep the noise level down, I would suggest a room that isn't next to the stairs.

Our stay was pleasant, comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the close proximity to a main thoroughfare. Interstate access to all local cities, activities and attractions is good, although navigating the web of Interstates and bypasses can be daunting at first. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and felt secure. The indoor and outdoor pools, hottub and sauna were great and secluded in an inner garden. The equipment in the exercise room was NOT in working order and needed to be repaired or replaced. Breakfast was quite good. There were lots of variety of cereals and fresh fruits and always enough to last until lunch. We would stay there again if in the area, especially due to online booking with subsequent price discount.
