The room was so big. There were no refrigerator, microwave or dinning room. Ithink they need to to put a small refrigerator in the rooms.

I was disappointed to find that the jucuzzi that you advertised that would be in the king size bedroom was not there. The hotel desk informed me that they didn't even have jucuzzi's there and that I would have to take up any complaints with my travel agent. The sheets were dirty, obviously not changed from the prior guest. I asked for a set to change them myself. Actually the staff there had the attitude that they were not even responsible for anything that didn't appear to meet our satisfaction, it all needed to be taken up with our travel agent. Why did you advertise the jucuzzi when the hotel dosen't even have them? I use this online travel agency for hotels, car rental and flights and this was my first incident of being totally disappointed.

I'm not easily scared, because I have poorly developed sense of self-preservation, but this place would frighten most people, and for good reason. The room was pretty gross. When I removed the "sanitized" band and lifted the toilet seat, there was urine on the underside that ran down and followed the inner rim of the seat. I'd be interested in learning their sanitization process and could probably make some recommendations. The bed was seriously broken down. Wireless internet service didn't work, and when they brought me a ethernet cable, wired internet didn't work either. they did manage to get it working after a while. In all fairness, the people that worked there all seemed very nice and wanted to be helpful. Mid day, when I went to ask about the "shuttle" (AKA taxi) for the next morning to catch my early flight, I had to wait for my turn to speak to the receptionist behind the bullet-proof-window-The man in front of me was trying to rent the room by the hour. The only redeeming quality was that the door locks seemed decent.

i read the reviews of others that stayed at this hotel and now that i've stayed there, i wonder what it would take to please them. the hotel is in an area where there are no other hotels, but the breakfast is wonderful, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the shuttle service was very prompt.

Cheap price, it is easy to find. Noisy, some smell, no hair drier. The fan in the bathroom is too noisy and it is automatically turned on when the light is on. The smell of the water and room make me uncomfortable.

My family and I checked-in and out within one hour. The first clue was that every business in the neighborhood was boarded -up or had steel cages on the windows. Secondly, gangs of young men were on every corner and in the hotel parking lot. Cars on blocks were parked in front. We really knew we were in a "not so nice area" when the check-in desk was surrounded by bullet-proof glass and we had to slide our credit card under a small opening. The smell was overwhelming as soon as we entered the building. It was some kind of food smell, but it was gagging. We entered the room which actually was clean, but my family was afraid of the area and I was certain that if I left my SUV in the lot it wouldn't be there in the morning. Lucky for us that I have a wifi card of my own because the only internet access was in the lobby. I immediately got on the travel website and found another hotel. Needless to say, their manager would not refund my money even though I had not been there even an hour. Not even a partial refund.

We viewed the website for this hotel, and it seemed like a decent inexpensive alternative to hotels closer to Newark airport. We were flying into Newark late into New Year's eve, so we used an online reservation site (affiliated with the hotel) to pre-pay for the room. There was a general lack of rooms at this time, so we saved about 15 compared to others in the area. We weren't looking for anything fancy...just a basic room for the night. What we found was anything but that! Please BE AWARE that this hotel is in a crime-ridden part of town. It is SURROUNDED by projects, drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes. There was no security present while we were there, and it was NEW YEAR'S EVE! There is a wall/gate around the property and disclaimers regarding safety. We were very worried that our rental car would be stolen. (There is NO airport shuttle.) The check-in counter is behind bullet-proof glass. The hallways are dark with scary looking people wandering them. We were too scared to even walk down the hall to look for ice! The room was dirty, but reeked of disinfectant and smoke! We were told there were no refunds, so we were stuck with the room. PLUS, they refused to honor the web reservation price and charged us 50 more than the price on our online receipt. For what we paid, we could have gone to a much nicer place. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told that he only works a few hours a day and DOESN'T COME IN UNTIL NOON! After lengthy complaints to the hotel, online reservation company, and contacting the credit card company about possible fraud, we were finally credited the "overcharged" amount...RIDICULOUS! This place is a scam...avoid it!

It is a little scary there

We were first given a smoking room, but the clerk was helpful in finding us another room immediately. Our upstairs neighbors were extremely noisy and the ice machines were used at night hours making a huge noise. The area is a little scary, especially at night. The shuttle service is great, but the staff should be able to give more information on public transportation possibilities for those who cannot afford a taxi. The first room we were in seemed to be on the wild side of the hotel. There was such a racket all night we couldn't possible sleep. Thankfully the staff was so helpful to provide us with an excellent alternative for the second and third night.

The rooms weren't terribly clean, but tolerable. The hotel is in a really bad neighborhood. How to make it better? armed guards? My advice: stay at a hotel next to the airport, its worth the extra money.

tHE LOCATION WAS GREAT BECAUSE WE GOT TO VISIT SOME FAMILY MEMBERS.THE BATHROOM NEEDED SOME MORE ATTENTION AND A FRIDGE WOULD HAVE BEEN GO, BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT THEIR CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. I HAD A RESERVATION THROUGH YOU BEFORE IN PUERTO RICO AND IT WAS EXCELLENT.

On arrival the car had glass from car windows over the car park.On entering the lobby we were greeted the check in staff behind BULLET PROOF GLASS and was tolded we could not have the room until 3:00 pm because they might rent the room by the hour. When we asked about shuttle service we was told there was not one and public transport was 2 blocks away and the neighborhood was not one you want to be walking around. We both did not feel safe staying there so we canceled and moved on to another hotel, which ended up being close to Newark airport.

Less expensive and free shuttle bus. This place is located around the neighborhood and is nearby NJ turnpike; the aircon/ heater unit is noisy; no restaurant inside the hotel. Is good only for people who are short in money for short period staying.

I did the park & fly option and I got there around 8PM. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were newly renovated. When we got there, I told them what time I wanted to get to the airport, and they had a taxi waiting for me at which they paid for (we saw the van / shuttle there, but they havent hired a driver). when i came back from my trip, they sent a taxi to pick me up (they paid ofcourse) and i picked up my car and was on my way.overall, great experience and would stay again!

As I entered the room there was this disturbing odor. It felt like someone emptied out a whole can of room spray into the room. Then I tried to open the window to air it out but guess what you can't open the window because they are solid glass. In case of an emergency like a fire, if you want to use the window to escape you won't be able to use it. The bed cover was damp. It felt like they took it out of the dryer without fully drying the bed cover. The AC / heater is very loud.

Great location. Room was basically empty and run down looking. I needed a quick place to sleep on a trip back from a concert in Atlantic City. But, the overall region the hotel is located is scary at best. The hotel itself was descent, but the walls sounded paper thin, and some of the amenities didn't work.
