The closest restaurants needed to be driven to. There were no restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, the neighborhood was not safe for walking in. It is the first time I've ever shopped in a store that had an armed guard walking around, and most of the products were behind a glass counter. I had tried to call the hotel for directions, but no one answered my telephone call. The room was very clean.

Continental breakfast was very adequate. Could smell smoke from other rooms. For the money, the convenience was great and continental breakfast was good.

Okay. So I book this hotel because it is cheap, big mistake. I drive up and it looks like a trailer park. You have to go to the bar to check in, and it's over booked. At least I got directions to another hotel and 10 bucks off.

Convenient to Alliant Center. Now way to regulate temperature in room. Physically in poor condition. Okay for traveling with someone. The lady I was traveling with did not feel safe there. The parking lots were very dark, neighborhood was not the best. Room was very stuffy. Needs updates.

What brought me here was the price. The room was ok. The room smelled a little and the shower looked gross, but it was close to the highway and everything else about it was good.

Close to alliant energy center, good breakfast. Door knob fell off, bedside lamps didn't work. The room was clean, but the upkeep of the facility was questionable. Lights should work and door knobs should't fall off. Didn't feel comfortable with a door that had access to the out side. Curtains hardly covered the windows. It was easy for someone out side to peek in.

The hotel was a bit run-down, and honestly, a little scary. The lamps barely worked, the picture and sound on the tv stopped working halfway into the trip, and the shower pressure was terrible...not to mention I had to go into the hotel bar and see the bartender to check-in and get my room key.

Low price yet much nicer than I expected. Very nice staff. No bath tub. Only shower. Americas Best Value Inn Mayflower is a great hotel for thrifty young people coming to visit Madison. Free internet access, breakfast. Small, cozy establishment with a personable attentive staff. I went with my girlfriend to visit a friend for St. Patricks day. We checked in and went out drinking. We really only used the hotel to sleep but the lady at the desk was so nice and it was such a nice place. I will definitely be staying at Americas Best Value Inn Mayflower next time I visit my friend in Madison.

The quality of the room was fine for the price. Clean, comfortable and came with refrigerator and microwave. It is an older motel in a not so nice area of town with a questionable bar/lounge attached. The exterior was in poor shape, but the interior was better than I had expected. The office did not open until 8AM and closed early.

Comfortable bed, fantastic shower pressure, accessible public space, and lots of rooms. Americas Best Value certainly lived up to its name. This was one of the most comfortable stays I've ever enjoyed. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the bed and shower, and the room was large and attractive. A little away from downtown, but close to a bus depot - and nothing in Madison is very far away, really.

It's a little scary looking at first, but we really didn't have any problems. There seemed to be a lot of long-term occupants and they were friendly to us. Bars/lounges had 2 pool tables. Close to the interstate, which is nice for getting around. Can't beat the fridge and microwave, many places don't have them! The bathroom reminded me of high school gym class... the first thing we did was go to Wal-Mart and buy shower sandals! It smelled funky and didn't look very nice. Overall, it was a fun adventure and the price was right!!

Very friendly staff anda family oriented business. Unattractive, too near the highway and door opens out in full view of passing interstate.

Newly updated and very clean. Nice little touches. Neighborhood was trashy. Very clean and comfortable. Good coffee in room, nice little continental breakfast and great shower. Great value for the price. Hard to get to from freeway only drawback.

Very good breakfast andgood TV. Flimsy doors to hallway and outside offer poor security. Easy to get to, poor check-in procedure, poor security offered by doors, no restaurants nearby, large color TV, rusty shower door, appropriate size bathroom, shower floor slick when wet and nothing to hold onto and good breakfast in the morning.
