Location was close to our destination (Exhibition Hall) but we were lost for 2 hours trying to find it. Finally we called and the desk clerk talked us in, very nice of him to do that! By then it was too late to enjoy the pool but for a little dip. Breakfast was excellent, eggs, sausages & gravy, waffle irons, and even great coffee! It was hard to leave, nice homey atmosphere.

The map given for the hotel was off, so I had to call the place to get directions. The associate spoke horrible english and didn't know any of the main roads around Madison. Once I found the hotel it took 15 min. to get my key, because she didn't know how to pull a reservation. We entered the hotel room to find that they are not heated. You have to flip a switch and adjust the tiny heater in the room. It took 3 hours to heat, then we woke up in the night cause it was then too hot. The curtains had cigerette burns, carpet smelled of urine, and the beds didn't have fitted sheets. The place is run down and I can't recommend it to anybody. I would accept the place at a 20-25 dollar rate, it was just terrible.

Pedestrian renovation of older motel. Access was confusing, with no signage. Took me two 189 degree turns to understand the the sign reading "No Exit" was the entrance to the facility. Room was dark and depressing, with only a shower; couldn't even a take hot soaking tub bath to relieve the weariness of a long day's travel. First lodging disappointment I've experienced in years of online travel. CF

This hotel is very affordable, but it's in a terrible location. It's off the side of the highway fairly isolated from everything. It is literally not within walking distance of anything. The hotel was clean enough, but not very nice. I would not stay here again.

There was a TV in the room. Walls and windows werepaper thin. It's next to the dump, windows are only one pane thick, got to hear some people express their love for the alcohol, they got to see it one more time before they passed out. Our room was right next to the stairs, still doesn't make up for the paper thin walls, still shouldn't hear what we heard. Rooms were not updated like the lobby was. One of the best continental breakfasts I've seen.

This hotel wasn't completely skuzzy, but the whole place smelled really icky, the linens were old and cruddy, the bathroom kept flooding and we could hear every screaming child (and there were a lot) through the paper-thin walls. I won't be back.

The only issue was that people in the hallway could be heard very clearly in the room. Otherwise, nice place to stay.

It was close to were we needed to go. Hard to find. It was OK, but it was hard to find at first and the people working there had no clue how to direct us to the hotel and hung up on us so we had to stop at a gas station and see if they knew where the hotel was. The room was tiny but clean and there was only a shower different.

It is what it is. Some people expect a **** hotel at ** prices. I thought the staff was extremely efficient and nice. No surprises on the bill. For Madison the price is excellent. You do need a car since it is east of the Beltway and there is not much to do there. If you are a business traveler or on the road much I'd recommend it as a regular stop. I had no negatives during my three day stay.

They did the best to make me happy. Hotel is right next to landfill - it just stinks! I know that it was a 1 star hotel, and they really did the best. Absolutely no problem with that.

You get what you pay for. It really wasn't that bad - basically what I expected. The only major con is that it is DOWNWIND of the landfill. I was in the pool for about ten minutes before the smell was too overwhelming. Other than that it was worth it for the price.

It was ok I think when I checked in she could have been I little more helpful. The rooms were ok I think they could clean them better the room I was in the wall have red stuff rub on them. The bath room could some up date in it. But the halls were clean and they just need to focus on the rooms.

Price was right and hotel very clean. Room was laid out uncomfortably, bath added and not sound proof. Very clean motel throughout. My room was strangely and inconveniently designed, with the bath rehab making entrance to the room very awkward. Wall with neighboring room thin so noise came through. Attentive staff.
