This obviously was a refurbished property. It was old, but updated. I have stayed in lots of beach motels like this in Florida. They are old, but have been updated, on the cheap. It usually results in some unique decor, if the bathroom tile and fixtures, drapes, wallpaper and carpeting were updated (or not) in the most recent deal the owner got on replacements. This one was just like that. The room was clean and comfortable enough; when you stay in a place like this, it is usually just to sleep and change clothes. The comp breakfast was a little sparse, but it was sufficient. I would give the maximum number of stars for the kind of motel that it is.

I liked the town it was in. The room had a horrible musty old house smell not to mention spiders everywhere! The location of the hotel is quiet at night, but wait till morning and the traffic starts going on the highway directly in front of it. Not to mention when the guy did come to a window, not the door, he simply asked my first name and when I said yes, he said it was in the middle of the wing and have a goodnight. He didn't check my ID or anything! The room itself is okay, although, the price is a bit high. It appears to have been a rundown old hotel that was recently remodeled, although, the room still had that old, moldy, musty house smell. There were spiders everywhere we went. The walls are paper thin. We had teenagers on one side and an old man snoring up a storm on the other. Did not make for a good night's sleep, whatsoever. Then there was the problem of the Internet.

The hotel was great. A problem came up with the guests next door, the hotel management took care of it immediately. I liked that.

It was clean and good looking outside. There was a little musty smell in the rooms. The people were informative and friendly. The rooms were spacious.

The location. Musty smell in all area because it was old. The best they could do for the age, the motel was. I would go back and bring a candle to light to eliminate the odor.

It was located near the attractions in which we were interested. They gave a key to our room to the next customer to come in. Poorly run.

It was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was more than I expected. There was no iron or ironing board. It was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was more than most. It was a good location. We went to Jamestown for the I Love Lucy museum and it was easy to get to from the hotel.
