Hotel staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable. The only complaint I had was the towels were very stiff and scratchy, like sandpaper.

"Old hotel recently remodeled with new furnishings, paint, carpet, etc. Rooms are very small and crowded. Plumbing is noisy. Rooms smelled a little musty, but they were clean. Staff was friendly but clueless about the town. Plenty of cable TV channels, but no movies or internet access."

The person who checked me in was very nice and made me feel welcome and was very helpful in pointing out places of interest. However, the staff in the morning was cold and acted like I was disturbing her day.

I made my reservation through AARP travel. It said I could get a refrigerator. The price sounded good. I am a diabetic and wanted a to keep my insulin cool. When I pulled into the lot there wasn't one car parked in front of any rooms. They were in the process of roofing the place and the outside sign said they had just remolded. I asked to see the room before I checked in because it wasn't in the best part of town. As soon as the clerk opened the door the smell of the room turned me off immediately. I refused to spend a night there. The clerk was very rude and I would of slept in the car before staying there. This is not a place to consider if staying in Hot Springs.

For simply spending the night and nothing else, the hotel will suit most travelers. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room, however, only had a shower (no tub) which made it a bit difficult for the little ones. Location was decent and within a short driving distance of most of the city's tourist attractions and dining areas. The most disappointing aspect was the cost as compared to what was provided. For a few dollars more, we might have been able to stay in a better hotel. However, overall the experience was good.

"50+ year old hotel, almost abandoned. No remote, 5 or 6 TV channels. Very creepy experience. Hotel probably rent by the hour."

Rooms are ok. Older place, you can tell they have been doing some work around the place but it still needs alot of work. Its not in a great location. Its hard to turn into the parking lot is you are coming from the south. I had some drunk banging on my door at 5:00am wanting a ride the first night I was there. Be sure you lock your doors on your car and room and don't leave anything you don't want stolen. I was born and raised in this area and it has really run down in the past few years. Looks like the drugs are taken the area over.

Stayed here to be close to the track. Room was nice and staff was courteous. I told a friend afterwards that I will never drive back home again after the races when this motel is available.

It was just what I expected. Older hotel but clean enough to satisfy me. Staff was helpful. When I travel to Hot Springs I am not looking for a first class type room but this was fine!

This was an awful hotel. Our room was at the very end of the building, right on the main road through town, so all we heard all night was traffic. The guests in the next room decided it was okay to drink and barbecue on the outside walkway all night like it was their own private porch, getting louder as the night wore on. Complaints to the frontdesk were met with indifference. The room had no threshold on the door and the water in coming from the shower was distinctively yellow. The fitted sheet on the bed didn't actually fit, so was constantly coming off the mattress, which smelled somewhat "peculiar". Avoid this place like the plague.

This hotel was exactly what I expected for the money. Because of my unexpected loss of a family member, I had not planned to be in Arkansas therefore, I did not have a lot of money to spend on hotels. Although, the room appeared to be clean and was comfortable it met my approval. I was close to everything(restarurants, funeral home, and most important very close to relatives). I would definitely recomend this hotel to family and friends visting Arkansas.

Americas Best Value Inn is a great hotel. It was very comfortable, clean, and had a great view of the city. The staff had an wonderful attitude, and were very helpful in giving directions for first time visitors. The location is where the heart of the city is. They had a great pool, and treated my kids wonderful. I really loved this hotel and recomend it very much.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The only complaint that I would have with this location would be that there is no barrier to drowned out the noize coming from the street. We were kept up most of the night and finally had to turn the fan in the bathroom and the furnace to dampen the traffic noize. Other than that, I would have to say getting some bottled water in the vending machines would be a big big plus.

nice and large place with very nicely furnished rooms
