Do not stay here!!! It is filthy and many things in the room were broken. We only stayed one night but would never stay at this place again. The handle for the hot water in the shower was stripped. We were finally able to get some hot water out of it after holding it in and turning it repeatedly. There is mold all over the ceiling and tile in the bathroom, the shower door has not been cleaned in months. The carpet is stained and old. Very old beds which are falling apart. The hotel is near railroad crossings and the trains run all night blowing their whistles loudly. We were trying to save a few bucks by staying at this place since it was a little cheaper, never again!!! The hotel staff was pleasant but you can tell they are used to complaints about the place. I felt sorry for them, working in such a dump.

We checked into this motel and checked back out in less than 10 minutes! The room we got was filthy. There were holes in the carpet & curtains and the room stunk so bad! The bedding didn't appear to be clean and I wouldn't have bathed my dog in the shower! We were concerned about bed bugs & roaches so we left. The staff was pleasant enough, though difficult to understand due to a language barrier. They never even asked why we wanted to leave when we checked out, giving me the impression that it happens frequently.

The hotel was a good value and located in the center of Galesburg, near many restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and although the hotel wasn't the nicest I've stayed in it I would certainly return.

This hotel has holes in the walls. The elevator made me think I was going to die, for it always shook while going up and down. The tv quality is bad, and the internet is very slow. The showers are in bad shape. The carpet has holes in them and haven't been cleaned in weeks. The hallways smell like soap, and it isn't very pleasant. The trains go all night. The elevator also smells bad. The good things though are the 2 foot balconys, which overlooks the parking lot or trains. The other decent things are the wifi, computer on the first floor, dining, and the pool.

We were fortunate to get a room with a balcony that faced the main street and a beautiful old church across the street. For some reason the ice and pop machines were unlugged, but we didn't notice until the day of our check out, they were avbailable on other floors though.

The Inn is very conveniently located in the middle of the town. Dining in 24 hr restaurant downstairs. Big enough room, wireless, balcony, nice bathroom. That's the end of the good stuff. Dirty sink, dirty bathtub, dirty carpet, with weeks of dust behind the door. Bedding looked clean, but I got bug bites during the single night I spent there. Eek!

We appreciate the price that we can afford to stay in. We do expect a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. One thing we object to (as with other hotels we have been in) there are not enough wash cloths furnished. We like a clean one at night, and one in the morning, and they just furnish two.

The staff was friendly and helpful. had small problems like trouble w/wifi and pool area did look good. rooms were good looking and a decent size
