I needed a place to stay whil elk hunting in the southwest Co. The hotel was more than I had planed for with the price. In fact I found several other hunters staying as well. It was clean and well cared for, and older property but I was happy. Would I come back again, YES for a hunting trip or family vacation. Maid service was a little on the not as good as could have been, but again the price was right and the staff was helpful.

I was on a tight budget so I had to go for the cheapest place. Of course, when you buy cheap you sacrifice service and cleanliness. The shower is stand-up only and the bathroom is extremely small. DO NOT look under the bed...there was cigerette's (used & unused) under the bed as well as lots of other items from other people. It is a good place to rest your head for the night but don't plan on staying awake there too long.

We stayed at this motel as a last resort because it was Fiesta weekend in the area and all the other hotels had no available rooms. The motel was probably built in the 50's and had no upgrades since then to the section of rooms that we stayed in. I felt we should have been put in the newer section because there were not very many guests at the entire place. Here are a few of the things that were unacceptable at this motel: -the carpet was filthy -the bathroom walls had old dirty peeling wall paper -the sink had not been cleaned properly...dried toothpaste on the rim -the windows were open when we came in, the temperature outside was about 90, so we tried the air conditioner. It was so loud, we could barely hear each other talk. There were also missing pieces in the front of the vent. -there were two lights out, one in the bathroom that was burned out and the other over the dresser had no bulb in it at all. -there was a wall socket that had broken in half exposing the bottom and that is probably why the lamp wasn't plugged in because there was only one socket for the TV. -the TV remote had no back plate to hold the batteries in so they had used tape to try to hold them in...the remote did not work at all with the TV...had to manually operate -the refriderator was not working when we came in and was full of mold. There were not enough wall sockets located where it was to have it plugged in. The only thing that was decent about this place is the staff was friendly and helpful.
