On a stop over while travelling further upstate. Hotel was the only convenient location that was reasonably priced. furniture and fixtures need to be up dated. Bathroon had no hair. On the other hand, there was a great Diner less than a quarter mile away.

Heating unit in room was noisy; we used heavy coverings second night.

Beds were OK, room was clean but nothing stellar. Bathroom looked recently renovated but was coooolldd! OK if all you need is a room for a night or 2 I guess. Would not avoid but cannot strongly recommend. Did not find office staff particularly responsive or helpful.

I cannot recommend this motel. It has to be the worst place that my husband and I have ever stayed...we almost didn't go to the room, based on what we were seeing from the outside. I had made the reservation online, where everything looked acceptable. I wasn't expecting fancy, but I always expect clean! This facility was terribly dirty, run-down, and smelly. The dumpster was overflowing with garbage in the parking lot. We asked for a room on the second floor, and the enclosed stairway up to the room smelled like urine. The walls were moldy. The view out the buggy window revealed an abandoned swimming pool filled with debris and cesspool-colored water. We almost didn't make it to the room, but because it was prepaid, we chanced a look. It was better, but we were uneasy. We did stay overnight but could not enjoy it. The bathroom was so tiny: when you sat on the toilet, you couldn't reach the toilet paper because it was behind the open door, and you couldn't close the door because it wouldn't clear your knees. We roasted in the night because the A/C wasn't cooling properly, yet in the morning there was no hot water for a shower! We called the front desk and were told that he would call us back. About 15 minutes later he called back to say that there would be hot water in about another 15 minutes, and we saw him cross the parking lot to go to what was the boiler room on the floor below us to turn on the hot water. We were disappointed and disgusted. Do yourself a favor?if you can, spend just a few more dollars, or minutes of travel time, and select another place to sleep.

The staff was courteous at check-in but I was apalled by the condtion of the our room and the hotel in general. The carpet was worn and dirty. There was a persistent musty odor in our room that two cans of air freshner could not overcome. The odor was noticable present outside. No clock in the room. Lots of flies. Furniture is worn. Ice is not free; vending machine. No complimentary breakfast. However, hotel is less than a quarter of a mile from major factoy outlet.

It should clean, staff should be friendly, linen were duty and poor ventilation. Clean linen, general cleanliness andfriendly staff, all these were lacking. Very poor and poorly managed. It looks like a Motel.

I would refer this place and stay again. Good for Value of Money. Clean and good Hospitality. The staff was excellent. Mary (front desk person) was nice, Afer long day of shopping at woodbury common outlets we have very good time at this place. Very quite and comfortable.

We stayed to visit West Point, but it's not really that close. Everything is very bottom-of-the-line -- threadbare towels, rock-hard beds, hot water takes 10-15 minutes, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful, which was nice. We asked for a rollaway bed, which looked like it had a large bloodstain (!) on the mattress.

America Best Value Inn, Central Valley, NY., lived up to only one part of it's name... yes it was in America. It is way downscale from Best, closer to worst. And even with a AAA discount it wasn't much of a Value either. Upon check-in, the room I was given had a peculiar odor noticeable as soon as I entered. It soon became clear that it was from a rather large, long-haird dog that had sleep on the floor and left lots of shed hairs. The desk clerk did give me another room after I pointed to the large sign on the counter, NO PETS ALLOWED. To be fair he couldn't be policing for pets snuck in, but it certainly made me cautious to inspect the 2nd room before retiring.

Reviews of Americas Best Value Inn( 1-5 of 6 ) ?America's WORST Value Inn? Americas Best Value Inn I cannot recommend this motel. Very close to Woodbury outlets. Very run down and smelly. Great location but not well maintained. The hotel room smelled and was not even up to basic standards.

It is very convinent for us to shop in outlets. Rooms is clean and beds are comfortable. They have nice 27 inch T.V . Bathroom is cean. Every thing is close buy. They have business center in lobby so we can check our e-mail and do our work when we are away from home.

The room was not clean, the curtains were hanging off of the rod, It smelled funny in the room. The pool was not opened and it was like pea soup with frogs swimming in it thus we had a room full of mosquitos. I reserved the room for 4 nights but only stayed one and I only stayed the one because I got in late at night and didn't know the room was not acceptable until it was really to late to find another room that night. I checked out the next morning and the desk clerk didn't seem to concerned that I was unhappy.

This hotel is convenient for the shoppers of the Woodbury. Speed of the internet is too slow. Very close and good place for the shopping in the Woodbury outlets.

No joke, we were stranded after our car broke down and the cab took us to this place. We said as long as it was clean it was ok. Well it was clean but then there was what appeared to be a bed bug in the linens. We ran out and demanded a refund. You get what you pay for.

This hotel has a great location in proximity to NYC (an hour away) and Woodbury Common Outlet Mall (2 minutes away). The staff were very friendly, the neighborhood quiet, and the price right. The motel could use some work, but who is to complain . . . you get what you pay for. A good value overall.

Friendly staff. Old and worn out. Would stay at the newer Hampton Inn in the area the next trip.

My husband and I attended an out of state wedding and needed a hotel for the night that was economical yet clean and comfortable. America's Best Value Inn was all of the above. I was impressed with the hotel as it was quite economical but didn't look it. The hotel is also located accross the street from a gas station that sells liquor, BONUS!!!! especially after a wedding. The outlet shopping centers are also close by.

Clean, well kept andinexpensive. Bad traffic.
