Worked OK, but the carpet and furniture were filthy. Fortunately, the bathroom, bed cover, sheets and towels were clean. The breakfast was adequate and the owners were nice, tho not very friendly. What we liked best was the wallpaper border thumbtacked to the wall and identical large, attractive pictures on two walls. In spite of these negatives, we came out of a terrible thunderstorm (which knocked down a 30-ft pine tree in the motel courtyard) and were glad to have a room, even without TV service.

This room was absolutely horrible! It smelled bad, the carpet was filthy, the plumbing was loud, and the lighting was poor. Outside, I was afraid to be in the parking lot. Bad part of town and poorly lit. The receptionist would not let me sit in the lobby while waiting for a cab. "Company policy," she said.

The room as OK. The shower head is way too low. The pillows are hard, so take yours. For the price it was OK hotel. I would stay here agin only for the price.

The room provided 2 queens and a hid-a-couch which worked great for the 7 family members (5 kids, 8 years and younger). Very clean room, TV and cable for kids. Continental breakfast was great! Not real pleased with credit card billing procedures, they waited till next morning before billing me. The tub needed repairs.

The American Best Value Inn was a decent place to stay. My family really enjoys the extra amenities such as the refrigerator and microwave. Our favorite thing was swimming in the pool. The rooms are a little outdated, but they are kept clean.

We stayed at this hotel 31 Jul through 1 Aug 07. The room we stated in was moderately clean but the carpet was filthy. When yo u stepped into the bathtub to shower it felt like the tub was going to collapse. We decided to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt and made reservations to stay there on 2 Aug 07. When we got to out room there was a big roach on the outside of the door which I dismissed as it being outside. However, when we went into the room there was a roach crawling on the wall in the bathroom. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt but when I turned back the bed there was a roach and directly behind me was a roach on the wall. I called the front desk to tell them that we would be checking out. When I got to the desk a man who worked the night shift got a major attitude and told me the room had been used and they wouldn't be able to use it again and we should pay for the room. I stated it is full of roached and they shouldn't be trying to sell the room to anyone else untill they had it bug free. Needless to say my thoughts went on death ears. He was rude and obnioxious and this is definately not a place I would recommend to anyone.

I needed a low cost room for the night only. You get what you pay for. The price was right. The staff was nice, friendly was very easy. The breakfast was not good. All food was quick micro wave. The hotel is older and has been remodeled but is still old. For a one night short stop stay it was ok but I would not stay for more than one night.

The shower curtain had mildew on it and the bathtub did not drain well. Cable service was good. Pool under repair and we weren't told in advance.

This room was not clean, it had numerous bugs, and was very poorly maintained. The door lock was not up to standard. The bed was very uncomfortable, and I was unable to conduct business, as the internet service was not working.
