Very friendly staff, very truck friendly. The bar was not being open. Wonderful staff who were eager to make the stay enjoyable. Hotel was good for business travelers.

We called before we booked online to ask a few questions - when we arrived there was a painter in the front doorway (first clue) - he eventually stepped aside so we could enter - the girls at the desk were nice - but when we went to the room - we discovered the hotel was being renovated - there was no air on, no phones working, no numbers on most of the rooms, several workers in the hallways with drop cloths and huge buckets of paint, some hammering going on, a crane bringing windows up the side of the building, etc, etc, - I went back to the desk and got my money back. I asked why someone didn't mention the renovations on the phone - she tried to tell me I booked on line so there was no way to tell us....of course I informed her I had called a few days before that - she was very apologetic, saying someone should have told me - yeah right!! I don't think anyone was actually staying there - very few cars - but lots of workers - I'm sure the cars were theirs. I know the work will not go on forever, but because they were not upfront about it- I can't recommend it and will NEVER stay a Am Best Value again!

The Hotel is definately economy as for anemeties, but is over-priced for what you get. Not in a very safe area so watch your back and your valuables Rooms are fairly decent, not immaculately clean but it looks as if it once was a nice hotel. They have no coffee makers in the rooms, you must go to the lobby for coffee. As for continental breakfast it is the WORST I have ever experienced. The management have only honeybuns and danishes (pre-packaged) and occasionally a cinnamon roll BUT: they keep it behind the front desk and you must ask for it because -according to them-> some customers take 2 or 3 items !!! They obviously don't want to give out more than 1 item. They have no juices, cereal, milk, etc. like most ALL other hotels offer. So if you like to have a bit of breakfast in the mornings, expect nothing but coffee and maybe 1 honeybun or danish IF you ask them to bring it out of hiding as they watch that you take only one item. If you like a hot, or even warm shower at any time of day, you must turn on the bathtub faucet and let it run at least 10 minutes to get warm. I have stayed here a week and never gotten a "Hot" shower. Also they have their electrical plug ins rigged with the bar type cicuit breakers with too much running to them, so I sense a future risk of elecrical fire sooner or later. Also, towels really stiff and scratcy. They advertise an included continental breakfast and you pay for that service but they don't want to give it out. The restaurant and lounge both are shut down.

Price. Dirty and rundown. Not a five star hotel at all. Obviously it is a hotel that has seen better days, no restaurant on premises. Dirty.

I stayed here for a week or two and my visit was very plesant. The first thing a noticed was that the hotel was older...it used to be a Sheraton, so it is quite nice. It has a very large parking lot and hundreds of rooms. The front desk people were young, but very polite and helpful. The room itself was large and clean and had wifi and a microwave and minifridge (these are included in all rooms). They have a small fitness room but it has really great equipment that is new. The pool was very large as well and very clean. It was surrounded by a huge yard that seemed perfect for families. The breakfast was light, but i enjoy pastries, so i didnt mind. The coffee on the otherhand was excellent! (Folgers)!

This place looks like a dump. The outside is in terrible condition. We arrived ahead of schedule on our way to Courpus Christi. We wanted to move our reservations to Baytown to elimate a longer drive the next morning. They would not move our reservation to the Americas Best Value Inn in Baytown. So we were stuck paying for a night in this motel. When we got in the room what a surprise the room was LARGE and CLEAN. I guess the old saying is correct you can't judge a book/hotel buy it's cover/outside

The staff was friendly. We had wasps in the room. I would not stay here again, bad side of town, loud parking lot at night, had to be the locals, and I worried about my car all night!

I can say with all honesty and based on 20 years of traveling this country, this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The place looked, smelled and was not clean. It appeared that it had a recent renovation, however that project was like ""putting lipstick on a pig"". Worse than the obvious low maintained look and smell of the place, the towels did not appear to be cleaned. I got towels from a friend at a nearby hotel. Best Value is not the best in anything!

It is located across the street from a wonderful alternative scene bar called The Vortex that had great live bands. It smelled like urine and boasted a continental breakfast that consisted of a basket of prepackaged pastry goods. This hotel has a nice exterior, but the rooms are still not up to standards. The smell like urine and you want to shower after being in the room for 5 minutes. It feels sticky. I enjoyed the fridge and microwave combo in the room though. The television was also quite large.

I recently stayed at this hotel when I traveled there for a weading and the rooms were sooo nice. It look like they recently remodeled the place because I believe my bed was new. All the furniture in there looked new. The carpet was new and you could tell, they bathroom was so nice too. I just love this rooms. Their front desk was so friendly. I would certainly stay at this hotel again next time I travel to Beaumont.

Bed was good. No tub stopper, or cups. I was disappointed, no tub stopper for two days, no sugar for coffee in lobby for several days, no cups for water for two days in the room, quality of towels very poor, internet was ok but not in the room, had to go to lobby. Overall not a great experience. Kids in pool area were not guests. Would not rec. This hotel.

This place was one of the most quiet hotels I've ever been inn. Front Desk was very friendly, but housekeeping needs improovement.

They had a computer in the lobby. That's it. Disappointed in the 1 star quality for 2-3 star price. "America's worst value" better fits this place. This chain has some good places, but this is not one of them. Water pressure was low. Room not well lit. Makes motel 6 look good.

Location. Dirty, filthy, old property!

Absolutely nothing. Roaches, holes in the walls, filthy exterior, fire alarm wires and exit lutes hanging from ceiling in hallway. Pathetic. When we asked you company to stand behind our money they would not. We lost our money and had to find another hotel. I am not sure which was worse, the hotel our response.

"I stayed at this hotel during 4th of July weekend and the rooms were awsome! New everything and you could tell. I believe they just finished remodeling and it really looks nice. The pool was very clean. The staff was extremely nice. Over all, I loved it!"

Low price. Old and run down. Good price, but the hotel has seen a better day. It's a bit run down, but I got what I paid for.

Front desk was helpful. Old, worn down, photo on website was mis-leading. We were disappointed upon arrival; parking lot had weeds, broken concrete and overall very unkempt.

Free high speed wireless internet. Hallways on our floor smelled weird, not pleasant. Easy to locate, older hotel which has been painted but not truly renovated. No restaurant on the premises, not many choices right nearby, but more at the next interstate exit. Free "continental" breakfast was available, but no place to eat it. Had to take it to the room, where there wasn't really any place for more than one person to eat it at the desk, either.

Nothing. Everything. Not in a safe area, and was in no way a 2 star establishment!
