Convenient location. Bathroom floor needed to be swept, tiny spiders in corners of bathroom, musty smell in bathroom. Accommodations were okay, but the hot tub we were looking forward to using was out of order.

Pros ? Wireless Internet access was convenient. Pool was nice and clean and was very enjoyable on a very hot day. There was a wide variety of breakfast items that was included in the rate. The main part of the town of Winthrop was a short drive away. It?s built up as a country town in the 1900?s. It was nice to browse around. Cons ? Toilet set was dirty, dirty, dirty! Blankets and comforters were old and thin. Sliding door screen needed to be replaced as it barely stayed on the tracks. Furniture was old. Chairs were uncomfortable and the upholstery was stained.

Let me first say that the room was very clean and the staff was courteous. We arrived late on the first night of our trip; the staff was quick to get us into our room. The room was spacious, and the decor was that of a hotel in the 80's. Our bed was short sheeted, and quite hard. The "satellite" television was 6 channels of which 3 were so quiet you had to crank the volume up just to hear them and two others had problems with the vertical hold. Our upstairs "neighbors" spent the first night pacing the floor quite loudly until about 11:30pm, and then started up again at 4am. We had plenty of Hot Water for showers in the morning, the in room coffee was sufficient, and the Continental Breakfast was well stocked. The next night we had much better neighbors, but still had the rock hard bed...properly sheeted this time. All of the rooms face the pool and have the parking lot in back. You are able to hear cars and motorcycles driving by, as well as the people chatting. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for the price. I've stayed in nicer accommodations for less in the area.

It was very clean and the staff was helpful. It was a bit outdated. I would stay at this hotel again for business.

They gave us a better rate than first quoted and it was a nice location. The decor was out dated, but that was ok. We would stay there again; the hotel manager was really nice and brought us extra blankets right away. We had a king size bed and it was very comfortable.

Convenience of location. Coffee table in room broken. Overall fine for a stay. Location good. People friendly & helpful. Winter so not much activity for a Sunday night.
