the hotel was not bad for the price. the only problem i found was that everything was very very out dated and old even the beds and the tv. the location was perfect, very close to everything

Nothing. Everything was disgusting. Worst hotel stay ever. They forgot to clean our room one day, and we had to go to front desk for new towels, garbage bags, sheets, etc. Severely understaffed and dirty.

I would have to say you definitely get what you pay for. We arrived and were greeted by a very pleasant clerk at the front desk. Everything went smoothly, we went to are room and left our bags and went out to eat. When we came back to the hotel we decided we would take a dip in the indoor pool. It was nice in the fact that it was big and warm. What was not nice was the visible algae on the bottom of the pool in the deep end and on the floor throughout the pool deck. When we returned to our room to get showers we discovered there was no knob on the faucet in the tub therefore making it extremely difficult to regulate the temperature of the water. What I found under the mat in the tub was absolutely disgusting. It was covered in black and green mold. It would be fair to say that it hadn't been changed or cleaned properly in a very long time. The beds were hard and the bedding outdated. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal and dough-nuts that looked like they had been purchase out of a vending machine because they were the mini ones you would find in a gas station or vending machine. Needless to say we did not par-take in the breakfast. Upon our departure I would have to say that the lady that checked us out seemed like she didn't want to be there and was not very nice. I guess for the price we paid and considering we only had to stay one night it could have been worse but I would not recommend it to someone or go back for that matter.

When we called to confirm reservations the day before, the staff did not sound welcoming. We asked if we could check in a little early.. ans. NO. there was no I'm sorry we are unable to do that. Then when we checked in after the check in time, we had to wait until our rooms were ready. Have never been to a hotel that did not try to accomodate you.The room inside was okay for the price, except for the mildew on the bathroom tile. If you sat at the end of one of the beds you sank, and the bed squeeked. It is though there may have been a board under the rest of the bed. The water was either hot or warm. If you wanted to brush your teeth, and use cold water you were out of luck. When you used the hair dryer all the lights dimmed. The clock had an incorrect time. At breakfast we were not greeted as you entered into the room. No one thanked us for coming. We have stayed at lots of other economy places and had much niceer experiences,

The only good things about the hotel was the location and the price. The hotel was horribly dirty. There was food left in the sink. Dirt on every visible surface. Pillow cases had some very disturbing stains and smells. I also requested a non smoking room for health reasons and they put me in a smoking room first, then it took about an hour to get a new room, and the shower was broken. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Game room. Cold indoor pool. Spend few dollars more and get a nicer place.

We stayed here over a weekend in early October. I was skeptical because the price was so low, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. The rooms were relatively spacious and the bathroom was clean. It had a fridge and microwave. The game room is huge and the pool was nice. It's on a busy street, so there are tons of restaurants to choose from and you don't have to drive. The back side of the hotel faces a residential area, so we were able to go walking and bike riding without worrying about the traffic on the main road. My only two negatives were the bed was not very comfortable and the continental breakfast left much to be desired. We didn't bother to eat there since there's a pancake or waffle house at practically every street light. All in all, I'd definitely stay there again.

Friendlyless. You ask for non-smoking room, you get smoking. Only 3 towels for 5 people. No elevator to 3rd floor.

We went to Busch Gardens for the day and spent the night at the hotel,it was clean and kinda small, the toilets were really slow filling back up and we thought they were broke,Our son tried to get on the wireless internet but could not do that in the room, you had to go down to the game room at a little place on the side were they had a sign up that said you could pick up the wireless internet here, our son was very disappointed in that area. After a hard long day at the Busch gardens we went out like a light, it was very quite there. If you are just looking for a place to lay your head down on a comfortable hard bed it will do the job at an affordable price to some of the other hotels.

The pool and game room were nice. The key cards never worked, had to have staff open door. This hotel has nice amenities and is a good location. More effort needs to be made in maintenance and upgrading of room fixtures.

Facility offered rec room w/pool tables, nice indoor pool. Rooms were generally clean but had a well-used look. Hotel would benefit from an update. Front desk staff was helpful.

The rooms were very dirty there were stains on both bed sheets and pillowcases. The toilet kept clogging and another guest also was complaining about his toilet clogging in another room. There was hair on sink and still previous guests items were left in the room. I know the price was cheap but I would much rather pay extra money to stay somewhere else!!!

Great location with large room and breakfast provided. Typical A/C unit that shuts off with the compressor. I like the fan to stay on full time to keep me from waking up. Great price and excellent location. Pool and game room. Seems recently renovated. Quick check-in. Breakfast included. Why don't 2 and 3 star hotels usually include breakfast?

Not worth the price. Beds were old and in horrible shape. To use wireless internet there was only one spot in the game room that sometimes caught a signal. Continental breakfast was anything but breakfast (if there was anything left when you arrived). Wall paper was pealing off of the walls in the bathroom. The drains in the bathroom wouldn't drain. I tried to think of one thing good to say about this hotel other than a couple of nice staff people, but couldn't.

The location of this hotel was almost perfect; not too close to or too far from anything. Though the room was clean, I was not impressed with the "motel" feel it had. The west park definitely would not be my first choice of places to stay unless; maybe I could have actually stayed in the renovated "hotel" style building. I had been in my room for about an hour after I unpacked and decided to relax. When I stretched and looked up at the ceiling, I noticed that it was covered in mold-- dark, black colored mold! I'm not talking about a little spot. I mean at least half of the ceiling was covered! I guess I missed it at first because the lights were still low and the ceiling was grooved. This really concerned me because the mold was in an area that assumedly was not directly under the bathroom of the room above mine. I called the front desk and expressed my concern. The young lady at the desk allowed us to change rooms, but there was no apology, no care or concern. She was quite cavalier you might say. The rest of my stay was nice.

Well I must say the Hotel is in a great area, where do I start, The hotel key didn't work at 1st. They put us in a room all the way in the bushes. Alot of local's live at this hotel as tenants. They smoke, drink, make loud noises all night. The smoking aroma enters my room, although we were in the non-smoking area, well atleast we thougt. The room service is horrible all 7 days we have slept on the same bed. We had to request for towels, and toliet paper was very rare. The bathroom was a matchbox, and let me tell you the shower facuet was broken. I ended up using my eyebrow tweezer to turn it on. The ceiling was cracking and the room carpet was mildew. The lamps in the room had no light bulbs, I ended going to walmart to purchase some. The beds are so not like at home, I felt like I was sleeping on a plywood board. Although the staff smiles and talks to you.I will never forget this hotel.. BEWARE!!! If you like something on a budget and dont care about quality this might be the place for you. I learned to stay at brand chain hotels, such as Holiday inn, Hilton, and Hampton inn.
