We've stayed here several times and generally have a pleasant stay. Room location is important as some rooms close to the exits tend to be noisy (doors slamming)

The hotel staff was excellent! Kind and helpful. One of the ice machines was broken. The location of the hotel was perfect (walking distance) to anything you wanted. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean with available computer-internet service and quite a nice breakfast set-up in the lobby every morning. We will be back.

Great experiance except for breakfast. Not enough waffle irons and alot of take advantage of free stuff. disappointed with that but really not your fault. very accomadating otherwise.

Although we spent a short time, it was a great value. My kids and I loved the pool and the free breakfast was very good. Room was basic but very nice and clean.

Nothing at all. Very accommodating people working there! I loved the room and also the people working there. We also used the pool and hot tub and I individually used the water weights for my practice on my water aerobics. Great. Most importantly all the workers where there to help us.

The AmericInn in Minocqua is a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights. The room is spacious and equipped with a fridge, which was very handy for our family of four. We spent only a little time at the hotel each evening, as we enjoyed the Great North Woods during the day; but the hotel was very comfortable. The a.m. breakfast was nothing fancy, but certainly adequate. The location is perfect, we were able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to see in Minocqua.

We stayed at the hotel during a near peak capacity. In spite of the number of people being served, hotel staff remained friendly and diligent in performing their duties. Rooms were comfortable and relatively quiet for the number of people in the hotel. The facility, including the room, did appear to be showing a bit of wear and tear, but was clean and and in reasonably good shape. Location in relation to downtown was excellent.

The location was great, the breakfast was wonderful, the staff was friendly and courteous and the sleep was welcomed! This hotel exceeded my expectations in almost everyway. I was a little reluctant to book this hotel for a one week vacation with my elderly mother but the one block walk to downtown was wonderful. The hotel staff was always helpful with suggestions on places to dine, things to see and places to go. The in-room refridgerator and microwave were very welcomed for fast lunches and evening leftovers. The room was very quiet even though there was a wedding down the hall. Our only complaint was the air conditioner dripping from the room above us onto our a/c. That was easily fixed by placing a bath towel outside on our a/c. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to enjoy the sights of the northwoods and needs a relaxing, quiet place to return to when the day is done.

Our kyes didn't work and then wehen we got into our room, there were dirty towels, bathroom and sink was dirty. I called to have them give us clean towels, soap, etc. Other than that the room was fine
