This hotel was wonderful. The breakfast was yummy, the pool was fun, the people were helpful, it was wonderfully maintained by wonderful people. I loved it. I hope to stay there again. I didn't want to leave. The lobby felt like home.

The AmericInn at Inver Grove Heights, MN was a very pleasant experience. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was always helpful.

If you book on Travelocity and ask for a king bed, N/S you will be given a room on the 4th floor. the 4th floor is a smoking floor with a couple of non smoking rooms. Our N/S room stunk!!! We were moved to the 2nd floor which is all non-smoking and it was fine. the staff was very nice and helpful. After room change all was great. So book a room with two queen size beds if you are smoke sensitive.

The Americinn of Inver Grove Heights was a pleasure to stay at. The hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the nice sized pool. The continental breakfast was very good. The motel location was good for going to Mall of America and other attractions in the southern Metro area. We really enjoyed our stay.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The hotel was easily found and was only 9 miles from the airport. If you are looking for a nice fitness room, don't stay at this hotel. The fitness room is on the fourth floor. The fourth floor is also the "smoking floor" so it smells like cigarette smoke. The equipment in the fitness room is outdated and nothing that I was willing to use. It's disappointing when you think you're going to get a good workout and then see a fitness room that really shouldn't be used.

I appreciated the free shuttle ride to the Mall of America ---I saved gas and didn't have the hassle of parking. The front desk employees were friendly and ready to give us a ride promptly. The room was clean but had a stale, musty smell to it which was unpleasant, especially when just entering the room. The room had both a small refrigerator and microwave and we used both. The motel had an excellent selection for breakfast, including hot, fresh waffles which are my daughter's favorite. The pool was clean and looked well maintained.

My husband and I stayed at the Americinn Inver Grove Heights for 7 days in May/June 2008. We were very happy with the friendly and helpful staff, excellent maid service, lovely lobby with free coffee, tea, and cocoa all the time, and the motel is very conveniently situated with good shopping and restaurants nearby and easy access to major freeways. Our room was spacious, very clean, and the large queen size beds were quite comfortable. We appreciated the refrigerator and microwave, too. When we return again to Minnesota (our family lives there), we definitely plan to stay at Americinn again.
