I am writing this on behalf of my family. My brother got married in July and as a surprise for him and his new wife, the family booked a suite for their wedding night at the AmericInn in Sidney, NE. The reservation was made in January, SEVEN months before the wedding. The mother of the bride went and toured all of the suites and picked the room that was most suitable. Confirmations were made once a month during the 7 months until the wedding. The day before the wedding, the mother of the bride called and confirmed the suite and put in a request for an early check in, so the family could decorate and get everything ready. With the AmericInn confirming the reservation every time for 7 months. THE DAY OF THE WEDDING, our family shows up to decorate and the lady behind the counter tells us that we have been BUMPED for another bride and groom of a wealthy family in town!!!! The mother of the bride was so upset she got sick. The "customer service" (if you can call it that), offered another suite to be used. There was a giant hole kicked in the spa tub and the room was 1/2 the size. Understandably upset our family refused the room and was given a crappy room for the bride and groom. No apologies were made, and even though the room had been booked for 7 months, they STILL gave it to the other couple who had called a WEEK before their wedding to book a room. They told us they had been having problems with that happening to others and the girl said not to be mad at her "cause it wasn't me". I hope that anyone who reads this will think twice before booking with AmericInn Lodge and Suites. I know I will NEVER give this company my money again!!!

So pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The lobby is so warm and welcoming, like going to a mountain lodge. Breakfast was expanded continental, with sausage gravy, biscuits and FRESH waffles.

Hot continental breakfast with a great variety, clean rooms and comfy beds! This is a very nice hotel to stay at. The breakfast serves waffles and biscuits and gravy as well as other many choices, could cost up to $30 for a family of 3 at a restaurant! The indoor pool and hot tub is great. The rooms are very clean and the beds are in great shape. Air conditioners work well. I would highly recommend to any traveler.

This was a great hotel for my family and my dog. Their hot water heater broke and the temp was boiling on the shower, they should have warned us. This hotel was beautiful. Great room for my family and my dog. Breakfast was amazing, (very nice) coffee and snacks available all day, room was beautiful, staff was great, pool and game area was awesome. We would stay there again when passing through.

Could tell that the crew as a whole cared about the hotel. Have nothing to say. Excellent, great choice.
