Going home. Not luxurious in any sense of the word, especially for 89.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights while he was home from Iraq. They people that worked there were always nice. And it was quiet. We enjoyed it!

. ***The pool was closed (they neglected to tell us that when we booked with them by phone). ***The "complimentary shuttle" to the airport cost 18. ***The "complimentary breakfast" is totally done by 9AM. ***There was no microwave in the room ***The bathroom and tub floors were slimey, the toilet had what looked like a spot of diarrhea on it (it was a burn hole), and the toilet didn't flush well ***For amemities, there was 1 bar of soap, 1 minature bottle of shampoo, and two washclothes (for 3 people)...oh...and no ashtrays in the smoking room ***The mattresses were so old I could feel the bed springs through them, and the pillows were hard as bricks, and bedspreads had burn holes in them On the flip side: ***The housekeeping and AM staff were nice ***The shower was nice and hot Take our advise....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Usually, I am a pretty easy going person but I was so upset with this place I wrote a list of complaints to the corporate office.

They could not get a remote to work for our TV and told us they didn't know what to do. Overall I was still happy but thought that was a big pain. The rate they were giving for the night was $7 less than I paid through Orbitz. So I am not real thrilled with Orbitz.

The breakfast was great, the hotel was quiet and the location was great. Very helpful, fast check-in and out. Plenty of parking, rooms were spacious and clean. Carpet seemed worn but lobby has a display of the new bedding and carpeting being installed a few rooms at a time.

We were very please with our stay. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and it was quiet! We would definitely stay there again.

It was a pleasant stay and the price could not be beat. I have paid much more in the past and been much less pleased. I will become a repeat visitor.

I am very pleased with this hotel. I am expecting to stay at this hotel in the near future. I will be making many trips to that area, and I just loved the staff they were very friendly and very accommodating. the rooms were clean.

Breakfast was great. No warning that hot tub didn't work. Sink in room didn't work. When we arrived it took 20 minutes to check in. The room was good enough although only sink did not work. Called front desk and it never got fixed. Area restaurants were sub level and not many things to do.

"Enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and we slept well. The only thing that was lacking was the choice of breakfast. There was no milk or cereal. They did have a waffle maker, which was delicious, but only one, so there was quite a line-up for that since there was no cereal available."

Nice place to stay, nice breakfast too!

The king size bed was comfortable. The evening desk clerk didn't know how to handle the reservation. The AmericInn on Hill Road near Flint, Michigan is a very average facility. They did not mention or promote the continental breakfast. The evening staff was not well-trained and was not very friendly. The day staff was very friendly. There was enough space in the room to have a table and chairs which would have been nice. The location near the highway is convenient, but the hotel sits back in an isolated spot. For our purpose of necessary quick and not too expensive accommodations it was okay. We had to be in Swartz Creek for a funeral.

Location was good, staff very helpful. TV remote did not work, lights were not working properly. This hotel was located in a safe area with easy on/off access to the freeway. The staff was friendly and willing to help us check in early. The lobby area was very inviting as well.

It offered all kinds of amenities. The staff gave away my room and double charged not only one but two cards and didn't even care to figure it out they left it for a manager on Monday. The hotel looked very nice and offered a lot of amenities. I wish that I had stayed longer. But the point of my trip was a stress free night away. When I arrived, they had no record of my reservation or credit card. They had given my room away before 3:00pm and had checked me in and out in the process which caused the confusion and for my card to be double charged. When I gave them a second card to put the room on, that one was also double charged. I was sent upstairs to find that it was still the wrong room, but I didn't care at that point, it was a nice room so I didn't mind. Plus, I had to go back to the desk and complain again about the wrong charges, so I didn't want to seem like I was just a pain in the butt customer. Both of the women handling the problem were fairly nice, the one that did make the mistake in the first place really seemed to want to correct it but the other just didn't want to deal with me anymore. She just voided everything that she saw and left it for the manager that was to come in on Monday saying that she didn't care and that if I ended up getting a free room then oh well.
