Made the reservation with Orbitz. The hotel was listed as: "Pets OK". When checking in I discovered there was a 25.00 fee as well as a long list of rules for pets. It wasn't a real problem, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. All other aspects of the hotel were good!

Warm pool, location and friendly. Room needed some up-keep. I thought the hotel was out of the hustle and bussle but close enough to attractions for us. The pool was very nice for our young children, warm and not too deep. The refrigerator was small but otherwise the room fit our needs.

It is very hard to find a place to stay this time of the year in Duluth. The front desk was great, the town happened to run out of water and they handled the situation professionally and made us feel at ease. Best pool I have been in a long time. The temperature in both the pool and hot tub were perfect, not a stark contrast of temperatures and you could walk between them with ease. Plus not smell like chlorine! The breakfast - great love the waffles!:)

This was a difficult experience not because of the hotel, but we did not have a good experience booking a hotel on Orbitz. We got there and they didn't have our booking reservation. Then apparently we didn't book it correctly. The website via orbitz said pets were allowed, but we had to pay a large fee to have them in our room. The cost of the hotel plus the pet fee made the room much more expensive than the other ones we looked at and didn't end up booking because of the increased cost.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did not clean our room between the 2 nights we stayed, we were very disappointed. We were pleased with our stay at the America Inn, the staff at the front desk was very helpful. We were not happy about our room not being made up from the night before.
