My room was spotless and very quiet. The mattress and the pillows were wonderfully comfortable. The free breakfast had good variety and was offered from 6am-10am. I really liked that it lasted until 10:00am. Unfortunately, my room was EXTREMELY tiny and very old-fashioned in its lay-out. Too small for two people. The bathroom was also very tiny. The in-the-wall air conditioner did not make a good visual impression. The whole room said, Welcome to 1968, to me when I walked in. It was so spotlessly clean, however, and so quiet, with such a comfortable bed, I will ask for this exact room again, as long as I am by myself. There is NO elevator. The staff was very friendly and responsive. If an up-to-date look is important to you, you might not like this hotel, but I was quite satisfied.

We stayed in room 103, the handicapped accessible room, and were never told that it was next to the ice machine. The noise from people getting ice, and the water going to the machine went on all night. If we had been told in advance, we would not have taken this room.

We didn't expect much more from an Americinn. You get what you pay for! Considering we were just in and out of the hotel and used it only to rest at night, it was good value for the money. The first room we checked in smelled bad...some sort of damp smell that bothered my wife in particular. We requested another room, which turned out to be a bit better i.e. no funky smells!

This was a good hotel for the price. The room was nice & clean. The staff was friendly & helpful. Location is right off the interstate for easy access & there is a casino across the street if you need some entertainment. I would stay here again if I needed to.
