The Caledonis AmericInn was very quiet for those who are in need of a good rest. I loved the location as this hotel was near so many places to eat and shop if I had needed anything.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel atleast three times when visiting my sister. On one occassion a severe storm rolled in overnight while we were sleeping. Branches were down from trees, we heard the next morning by the staff who were at their own homes that there was huge lightening and incredibly loud thunder. We never heard a thing. I have to say that this hotel has the friendliest staff and the quietest rooms. It doesn't feel like a hotel we're staying at...it feels more comfortable than a hotel...a little like home. That's why we will continue to stay there everytime we visit my sister in LaCrescent.

Indoor pool. Rooms doors didn't always close completely. We were more than pleased with this motel. It is very clean, kid friendly. Front desk staff was helpful on several occasions. The continental breakfast had donuts, waffles, cereal, bagels, juice, milk, coffee, etc. Good selection. The indoor pool area was very clean and roomy. We had a total of 4 rooms and all were happy with the accommodations. Our only problem (if you call it that) was the room doors didn't close tightly unless they were actually pushed closed with some force. We had returned to our room twice to find the door not closed completely. Would definitely go back.
