Very friendly, and very clean. Only 4 days a week someone on duty at breakfast, otherwise awful. No variety. Just completed our 3rd time back and would return. Breakfast-lots to be desired. No variety. Runs out of everything. Needs hot breakfast variety. Needs attendant at all times. Manager, assistant manager and attendant at breakfast 4 days a week terrific.

I have stayed at this hotel two times now. The first time the staff was great. I requested a late check-out and ended up being able to check out really late with only a half day charge. This time I requested the same room and got it. My only complaint lies with the hotel maid for my floor. I had the Do Not Disturb sign on my door, it is in both English and Spanish. She still not only knocked but tried to come in when I gave no response (I was "otherwise occupied" at the time), I was glad I had flipped the lever that would keep her out. About 15-20 min. later the phone rang repeatedly for the next half hour till I finally answered just to get rid of her (feeling in my gut that's who it was since no one knew I was at that hotel). I must add that when I talked to the person at the desk later and requested to be left alone the next day and explained what had happened, I was indeed left alone until I told the desk I was leaving for a while if the maid wanted to do the room. Other than that, this hotel met and exceeded my expectations. The breakfast included waffles or eggs in addition to the bagels and toast. The pool area is very nice, overlooking the lake behind the hotel. The ambience of the welcome area is wonderful with the spiral stairway and little reading nook.

My Dad & I enjoyed our stay here. Short ride to Ft Myers to visit family. Staff friendly and helpful, went online for us and booked our boarding passes for return trip home. Breakfast was perfect to get day started, variety to choose from. No restaurant but Mel's right across the street, and several a short drive. Room was comfortable and clean. Refrig and micro was just enough to keep small snacks and drinks handy. Would not hesitate to stay here again next year. Can't beat it for the price!!!!

Memorial day weekend, my boyfriend and I planned to watch the sunrise in Pompano Beach, then drive across Alligator Alley to watch the sunset in Sanibel & spend the night. I thought it would be a problem that we made the decision to do this on Thursday! I booked online through CheapTickets.com, and only ONE day before, on a holiday weekend, I was able to book a room at a more-than-reasonable rate. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon on Saturday. The hotel and landscaping were lovely. We walked in through the front lobby, which was decorated nicely and very clean. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and answered all of our questions. She recommended a wonderful restaurant when we asked her for a good place for dinner (Watermark Grille). Our room already had the A/C on, so it was nice and cool. Everything was clean and tidy. All the paper and towels in the bathroom were folded like shells. There was nothing fancy, just nice. I liked that they pay attention to details. We slept comfortably, and woke in the morning to go back home. Breakfast was lovely. Not just pastries and coffee, but eggs, sausage; even make-your-own Belgian waffles! That alone saved us at least twenty bucks or so for breakfast somewhere else! We have four boys from 9-17 between us, and will be traveling back across the Alley with them. We will surely be staying at the AmericInn again when we do. I will also be booking through CheapTickets.com again.

We were in the area a short time looking for real estate. The rooms were clean and the area quiet. There was a pool but we didn't have time to use it. There was also a fitness room which we didn't have time to use. We arrived after midnight because our plane was late and the employee was very friendly at a very late hour. Breakfast is provided and it was good.

We went to Bonita Springs with 2 other couples to attend a wedding nearby. The other couples booked there first so we decided to stay there too. I was nervous because the price was SO low. Got there and realized it would be a great value at twice the price. The rooms were big and super clean. There was a computer available when I realized I left home without paying my cell phone bill! The location was great. Mel's diner accross the street was good and well priced. The pool was beautiful. [...] at the front desk was kind, funny and helpful. The only thing I would change would be softer towels. We can't comment on the continental breakfast because we slept late and got downstairs at 10:15. When they say it ends at 10 they mean it. Overall a great experience, great value and we will definately stay there again, next time with the kids. Oh yeah the mini fridge and micro in the room will make staying with the kids super convenient too.

They were able to print my airline boarding passes. I used the hotel due to its proximity. I traveled for a family funeral. When asked about a two hour extension so that we could change clothes after the services, I was told that it would cost an additional charge. I had to request shampoo, as there was none in the room. We wound up with 2 towels and two wash cloths. Morning breakfast selection was minimal.

We were committed to this property for 6 nights since it had already been paid for. The rooms were in need of updating and painting; carpets were stained. Checkin was less than amiable and when we saw our room I was tremendously disappointed. There was a 3 foot stain on the carpet as you walked in. I asked to be moved and was told by the clerk that all the rooms were the same!!! After I said I would speak to the manager the next morning - he did offer to change our room which was a little better. The staff was not friendly and the breakfast was lacking. They were always running out of items in the breakfast room. One day there was no waffle batter nor coffee cups; another time there was no butter for two days. Will never stay here again and may never stay at another americinn again.

For a simple, inexpensive place to stay in Bonita Springs, AmericInn is good. It's spartan yet comforatable. However, I found the continental breakfast to be poor.

Pet-friendly, price was very good, room fridge and microwave useful, and pleasant staff. Room needed repainting and new carpet - smelled, breakfast starchy and monotonous. I have stayed in an AmericInn near Boston which was much nicer, however, if you're looking for a decent budget hotel this fits the bill. Staff are very nice and common areas area well-decorated, but the room we stayed at was badly in need of redecorating and new linens. I stayed at this hotel because it was pet-friendly and they were very accommodating.

Front desk was very helpful. There is not a sign on the road leading into the hotel therefore it was hard to find. A pleasant stay with a nice view from the room. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Rooms were clean and neat with comfortable beds.
