This is the second time I've stayed at the Ambassador Inn and Suites and once again I am very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size, up-to-date, and clean. The room was a little damp the first night (it was a rainy and humid night), but I turned on the AC and that solved the issue. The hotel is located on a main road close to everything, but at the same time it's very quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

A nice stay for the price you pay. The hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and very large with free WIFI and a refrigerator. The indoor pool and hot tub area was excellent we traveled with our 4 year daughter who loved it. The breakfast included was good fruit, cereal, Belgian waffles, juice, small donuts and pastries. Staff was very attentive and nice. This hotel was a great accommodation for the price we paid. If you are expecting to stay at a glamorous hotel for $80 a night you will be disappointed, and should look for the hotels that charge $250 a night. If you are looking for a nice hotel for your family that is cost effective, clean, and fun then the ambassador suites is your choice.

The hotel is in an okay location of the city, close to things...including the cemetery that runs along side of it. The staff was okay but not very professional. We arrived to the owner scrapping and painting the outside. There was black mold growing on the ceilings inside of the hotel. The room itself was musty but a decent size, with a small fridge. The beds were horrible, lumpy-springy and small. Not sure if the sheets were changed from the last guests, we found long black hairs in one of the beds. The bathroom was insanely small and not clean. I would not stay here again. After this we stayed in Hyannis at Americas Best Value for and it was much better. Oh.....the breakfast is little to be desired. The room was hot and people were ill from it. My husband actually opened the window and was told by a staff not to do that. Everyone protested and the window stayed open. The breakfast consisted of old mini muffins, stale cereal and juice. We decided to eat out!

Over all we had a great time. The room was clean and they (house keeping) accommodated whatever we needed. They were very nice, courteous, and friendly. We loved the location because it was "mid cape" so we could easily travel the whole cape from our"base camp" and see everything we wanted to see on day trips. When we returned to our room each evening it had been cleaned and new towels and toiletries were in place. We would recommend this place to anyone. The only dissatisfying thing was the out door pool was dirty but it had rained all week so maybe that's why.

That it allowed pets. The manager and staff were not helpful at all. Upon checking into the hotel, the desk clerk began arguing with us regarding our two very small pets. The argument escalated and we had to leave the hotel for a while tempers cooled. The manager and cleaning staff were all a family with their children running and at times screaming in the halls, breakfast area and front desk. The bathroom shower had quite a bit of mold on the ceiling and there were some outlets/lights that did not function in the room. I would never recommend this hotel - it does not look too bad from the outside, but the overall inside appearance, accommodation and service was disappointing.

I thought - At this reasonable price...I wonder what this place will be like...We were very pleasantly surprised! It is at a great location. Just a short drive to downtown Hyannis or to Chatham Beach. Everything was as promised. I was greeted at the front desk with a welcoming smile - which is something others often leave out! We checked in very quickly and with no hassles. The staff was full of local information and had plenty of what-to-do/coupon books. The room was clean and stocked with the usual amenities including coffee. The indoor pool/hot tub area was very nice and clean and open till 10:00 PM. (Too cold for the outdoor pool.) They had a really nice breakfast - Four cereal choices, toast, muffins, bagels, two juices, coffee, tea, and of course the do-it-yourself waffles! They kept it well stocked and clean. My only slight disappointment was a non-working ice machine on second floor, but we froze water in the fridge/freezer in the room. We will definately stay here again! And By the Way, This Hotel is completly Renovated just before we got there. I Would surely go back to this Hotel If I go to cape cod again.

Overall a very nice place. The interior walls allowed a little too much noise passing between rooms otherwise I have no complaints. The access to the rooms on the second floor was but a closed stairwell that was a little off putting.

The pool area was closed and the chairs and tables were locked up. Everyone complained that only 4 outside chairs were available. I would not stay in this hotel again due to lack of outside chairs available. The entire bus tour at the hotel complained about this. Only six chairs were available under the front porch area and it was a beautiful fall weekend. Other hotels in the area had their pool area open to sit in or had placed chairs on the lawns.

While the hotel was not unclean, it did not have the shiny, clean look that makes you want to stay there again. If you are staying there w/o kids, it probally will be ok. The bath room is small and the sink seems to be an afterthought. It was cheap though so it was not completely unexpected. If your travelling companion is ok with less than new, then it may be ok. If they are bothered by shopworn, then it probally will not be ok. Also, the room had an odd smell. If you do not normally stay in budget places, then this may not be the place for you

The Ambassador Inn & Suites was for the most part satisfying. I expected more for the money that I paid. In addition, the bath tub was not cleaned well, & in the price I paid, I was supposed to have 5 premium HBO channels, which I only had 3. Lastly, the free wireless internet access would not work in my room. However, the hotel staff was very friendly, the location was excellent, the pool/whirlpool was great, and the room was in good condition. Overall, I went to relax and that I did!

Cleanliness of rooms. Bathroom sink area is tiny. Check-in was courteous and quick. We always used the back entrance so we really had no other contact with the staff. Didn't have to ask for anything as all that was expected was supplied. Check-out was also very quick, actually just left the keys in the room.

This hotel was for the most part very nice. The rooms were spacious and pretty clean. The bathrooms were tiny and the beds were completely uncomfortable but the pools & the hot tub were nice. The location was perfect!

The Ambassador Inn & Suites, a former Quality Inn, underwent renovations this year (2008) and thus had a very clean look. The room size was quite good, although the bathroom felt more like a closet - very small and difficult for the 3 of us to use. Thhe beds were very comfortable and non-smoking rooms are available. My kids loved the 2 pools (one indoor, one outdoor) but there were large places with peeling paint in each pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

The location. Dirty, staff was unfriendly, not up to my standards, pets allowed. I would never stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone. I do a lot of traveling and this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed in.

Room smells terrible, bathroom was REALLY small and water did not drain, so we couldn't take a shower. Fortunatly, we stay just for one day - woudn't be able to take it anymore. Swimingpool was good, however. Location is also convinient.

I chose this hotel because it had a good review. Although it appeared fairly clean, the room had a horrible odor to it,so bad that I could not spend the night there and I checked out. Were our room was located was right on the side of a cemetery, and that was upsetting to my child. The hotel in general was clean. It did have a indoor and outdoor pool. It was in a good location. The staff were pleasant.

Clean; good location; friendly staff. The room had no exterior window for ventilation.

This was a great place to stay. Very close to everything and midway on the Cape. We had no problems checking in or out. Great pool area. Continental breakfast was marginal. No cream cheese for bagels. Otherwise happy with our stay. The rooms could be cleaner as there was stuff slopped behind entry door and bathroom door.

Indoor pool and continental breakfast. Hotel was certainly adequate. Enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub.

Everything was really great! The room size, the comfort of the beds, the indoor pool is awsome, especially during rainy days! My kids loved it! I do wish that the cable had more options for younger kids like Nick Jr. or Noggin, but besides that, everything was great and restaurants and farmiliar stores were very easiy found.
