DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR - CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL. We stayed here for our last night and it put a dampener on the end of our trip. We are not particularly fussy but it was nowhere near what was promised. There are many good hotels in Venice so give this one a wide berth if you can.

We choose this hotel because of its location near Piazzale Roma and the train station. The room was comfortable and well kept. There were several nice restaurants nearby and the vaparetto stop was only a couple of blocks away. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Great coffee. If you are going to use the vaparetto, it is easy to get to and from the Piazzale Roma and there is a bus to the airport from there. Our 72 hour vaparetto pass was good on the bus, so it cost us nothing to get to the airport. Much better than the 100 euros for a private water taxi.

The Hotel in its self was 4 Star.. But the Rooms were 3 Star.. But for the money it was Great! The location is good but there are no good views of venice from the rooms.. The staff was ok, again 3 star... I would recommend this Hotel to anyone on a reasonable budget. I give this Hotel 3.5 Stars

The room was very small and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The breakfast was okay. The staff was somewhat helpful.

Although the rooms were small they were clean and well supplied with slippers, bath products, stationery, etc. The breakfast was very nice, with fresh fruit, a capuccino machine, and other good things. The price was more than we paid anywhere else in Italy, but that's probably because it's in Venice, which was very crowded due to the Biennale.

We were very pleased to find that the hotel was a short walk from the train station and water taxis. Just around the corner was a wonderful restaurant that was along the canal where we had a long, leisurely lunch. Numerous sidewalk cafes and restaurants were within a short walk. They also provide a wonderful breakfast and free water taxi to Murano, home of Venetian glass. The room was very clean with a private bath and built-in safe. I would definitely recommend it as a great value and a very nice place to stay.
