Celle is also famous for the stallion parade of the Stud Farm of Lower Saxony taking place annually at the end of Septemberbeginnig of October. Lots of great horses have come from there. The historical heart of the old town with different pedestrian precincts has more than 480 restored timber-framed houses built in the 16th and 18th centuries.
