The Altrincham Lodge has recently been refurbished and offers good quality accommodation. With the metro transportation just five minutes for links direct to central Manchester Old Trafford for the Football and Cricket and not forgetting the airport just 4 miles and the motorways just a few minutes drive away the location could not be better. Each room is en suite and we have a choice of Twin or Double rooms at the same price each night. Breakfast can be pre booked and is taken in the adjoining Pelican public house that provides breakfast lunch and dinner daily. Contemporary stylish hotel situated just outside the centre of Altrincham Cheshire. Theatres- shops and cafe-bars are within walking distance of this Cheshire Hotel and Old Trafford is just 6 miles away. Superb local golf courses are on hand with both Tatton Park and Dunham Massey virtually on the doorstep of the Hotel. The hotel is near Manchester Airport- only 5 miles away.

One night business stayI chose the accomodation mainly due to it's competitive price. I was travelling to a business meeting and needed a halfway house for one night. I arrived at midnight and found the guy on reception really helpful and would like to note that he moved my room from the ground to the first floor as I was a lone female. He offered to carry my luggage and was friendly, even at midnight! The room was very clean and well equipped for my requirements. I would definitely recommend to others. I didn't eat meals at the adjoining restaurant so am unable to comment on this.

Bare MinimumA clean room but I object to having to sleep on a bed with no duvet cover, absolutely disgusting. Also the spare pillows had no pillow cases. Foul. I had to strip the other twin bed to put a sheet between myself and the dirty old duvet.

Stopover at Altrincham Lodge Hotel Thie Lodge is a motel. The receptionist made a special effort to change our room due to a last minute mobility problem; the room was very bright, clean and quiet ; breakfast, served in the adjoining "The Pelican" pub was well cooked. Both room and breakfast were excellent value for money, and would definitely recommend.

Great value for moneyIf you just need somewhere to sleep for the night, this is great value for money. The room is perfectly reasonable, with free wi-fi access. The pub next door does good food, including 2 For 1 on adult meals. My colleague and I had two main meals, 2 beers and 2 spirits for less than £24! Staff were extremely helpful, courteous and professional, both in the hotel and pub. Would definitely stay here again if I needed to.

room reveiwThe room was adequate to suit my needs however it was quite hot at night with only a fan to cool. I think it would have been a bit uncomfortable if it had been any warmer outside a small fridge would have helped alSo the toilet pan was in need of a good scrub it was brown. That was room 6 however room 4 is cleaner. Overall though the food within walking distance and the accomodation is fine would recommend it for a business visit and will certainly use it again. Another Excellent StayWe have stayed here three times now either visiting friends or to watch the ice hockey nearby. The staff are always extremely pleasant and helpful, on our first visit directing us to the best Indian restaurant we've ever been to!It is comfortable and very handy for getting into central Manchester but much better value than central Manchester hotels.

value for moneyWe found the hotel to be clean & receptionist helpful. The room was fine apart from the very small opening window, with restricted opening, so we spent a very hot night! The food at the pub next door was good, again good value for money.

Lovely staff give simple place some sparkleAlthough a bit Alan Partridge-esque from the outside, this hotel was a lovely place to stay on a one night stopover. The staff were really friendly, both on check-in and on letting us back in past midnight.Room was clean, the bed was comfy and it was really quiet.

Value for Money - Would stay again. Rooms small but adequate, clean and modern. Food in pub and breakfast was great and cheap too! Careful though as it is not in the town centre of Altrincham its about a 20 minute walk.

good clean hotel nice location quiet good decorI stayed here for 1 night and was very impressed, the room was lovely with full shower room, clean and up to date as well as warm with TVery impressed, got a good rate and full english breakfast was available at the pub next door for 3.99 but I didnt avail of this so cant comment on quality. Overall a good place to stay. I had no problems with it whatsoever.

Very good for the oney. The bed was really comfortable. If you want a quick stay over, somewhere simply to crash, this is the place.
