This hotel really sucks. They don't know a thing about customer service. The rates they are charging are not commensurate to the service I received. For those who still intend to check into the hotel, please check each and every item in your bill as they would always have a tendency to double charge you if you are not mindful of your bill. And I agree with one of the reviews here that the front desk will accuse you of stealing their teeny towels in front of other guest upon check out. I experienced that myself. As to toilet facilities, the water pressure is so low that the toilet bowl doesn't really work!! Yuck! Definitely will not recommend this to anybody.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, two reviewers must have hit a bad day! Ok its pricey for Mindanao but I found it relaxed, clean and no hassles. Staff were great, food was fine, loved the pool and i will be back!

We stayed for only one night because the water in the bathroom has a very foul odor, and there was a 2-inch worm in the bathtub! It was such a letdown, considering that the hotel's rates are very high. We had a better hotel experience from the other big hotel nearby. Breakfast was great, though.

My whole family stayed in for two weeks, we rented two rooms right in front the pool. My kids had a great time swimming in the pool with their cousins. The place has lots of friendly staff, huge room and great food. This hotel is close to the airport and 5 minutes walk to the main shopping mall and restaurant. This is the best resort in Butuan we are looking forward to our next visit on January 2009.

Make sure you count your linen/towels, unless at checkout u want some manager accusing you of stealing a towel, not once, after u already have explained that you did not take any towel, but at least three times, in addition each day i returned to my room i found my air conditioning was shutoff, so needless to say i had to wait for the room to cool off, also i returned to my room one day n the hot water was shutoff, needless to say i found this out when trying to take my shower . you may say that I'm just complaining, but i really didn't complain until after not once , but at least three times i was accused of taking a towel. how do i know that someone else with me didn't take it, because i was alone. i found it very insulting when the manager repeatedly said the towel was missing n i told them they should check with their staff. they continued to imply i had taken the towel. i wouldn't recommend that you stay here unless given a full inventory list of all linens upon checking, and keep track of each piece removed from your room each day. sounds like a total inconvenience to do this, well if you don't be prepared for someone to accuse you not once but multiple times of removing a towel. talk about having your trip ruined, i thought about this my whole flight from butuan back to manila. how dare they treat any customer like this. i traveled all over mindanao and they charge the highest rates anywhere and i don't mind paying, but to have your air conditioning shutoff, not once, but each n every morning is very annoying. not like i wasn't paying for it.also please note that the shower n sink water have a very strong odor, but if you can get past the smell i guess u wont mind paying top dollar for the rest. just make sure you count all the linen upon checking. and believe me , I DID NOT TAKE ANY TOWEL/TOWELS/ OR ANYTHING ELSE. AND WAS THOROUGHLY INSULTED BY THE STAFF AT CHECKOUT. IF I DID NOT HAVE TO BE AT THE AIRPORT QUICKLY I WOULD HAVE OPENED ALL OF MY LUGGAGE IN THE MAIN LOBBY AND SHOWN THEM I DID NOT HAVE THEIR TOWEL. WHO NEEDS THEIR TOWEL ANYWAY, CERTAINLY NOT ME, IVE THROWN OUT NICER TOWELS. to all have a nice day. not just some ramblings of a dissatisfied customer, but of a thoroughly insulted customer. to all , have a nice day and thank you for reading my review, which is totally truthful. THANK YOU.
