As part of the all-inclusive resort features, guests will be able to participate in numerous water and land sports,including hobie cat sailing, snorkeling, waterskiing, windsurfing, reel fishing,aqua cycles, kayaks, fishing, squash, tennis, a par 3 nine-hole golf and a full- service nursery that provides indoor and outdoor recreation for children up to two years old. Our Kids' Club offers activities for children ranging from three to twelve that includes beach and pool activities, lessons in local dance, culture and music, plus computers and video games. Movies, water sports, disco night and much more await the teens who visit our shores. *DRESS CODE: Please advise guest of the following dress requirements in the restaurants guests must wear shoes, have a cover over bathing suites and men may not wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. After 18:30 men are permitted to wear slacks and women wear dresses, slacks or culottes (no shorts or short outfits)this is strictly enforced. This resort was very nice, we enjoyed our trip this May 2009. The hotel is clean, the grounds are kept up and well groomed. The rooms were nice and housekeeping was prompt keeping everything neat and tidy. The dining was good as well. Several different places to eat onsite, all of which are different and the meals were prepared well. As far as an "all inclusive" place, it was great. The resort was quite most of the week we were there, however it did get busier at the end of the week. Overall a nice place to stay with several amenities at the resort. It is a little far from Bridgetown, but they have a shuttle bus certain days of the week. It is a little far from the airport, which makes it about a $50 (USD)taxi ride to and from the resort. It would be nice if they had an Airport shuttle service.

Nice staff. Poor maintenance, not clean, grounds werenot kept up. Far away from airport and shopping, isolated, rooms and pools in poor repair, beach was so-so. Staff was friendly, food adequate.

Trip of a lifetime!! We took our 6 year old son, great resort for kids!! But very relaxing for the adults as well! Staff was very friendly from the time we arrived until the time we left!! Food was great, rooms were okay, beach was wonderful!! Must hire a taxi and take tour of the island!! We have traveled in the Carribean alot, and this is by far our favorite vacation!! We went in March 2008 and are planning to return this June!! The worst part of the trip was having to leave!! Beauiful island, and can't say enough about the outstanding service!!

I went on the best of Barbados promotion. Upon arrival, We were met by two individuals as prepaid transportation was purchased. One person said the other person will get you your booklet and the other person said the other person will get your booklet. So, we received nothing that day. We received a call the next day to meet with a rep that day to receive the booklet. As we waited in the lobby, a hotel rep called me to the phone, the rep stated she had car trouble and would meet us on Monday. Day three, we meet with the rep finally and are instructed to call the day before to arrange return transportation. When I called to make arrangements, I was told I needed a voucher. We did not receive the voucher. Luckily, I had made two copies of the original voucher provided by orbitz so I had something to give the driver. Well, it turns out that the driver had let the original rep go home because our hotel was so far out and if he missed the last bus home he had no way to get there (as if cabs did not exist) and that is why we had to go through all of this. Well after this I became a bit paranoid. I then realized that I had given the hotel my only copy of our return information because they needed a receipt. I thought, no big deal, I will just request a copy. I did. I never rec'd it. They were suppose to deliver it to our room. I was also given a credit card that only allowed me to use 80% of the money I was supposed to receive. When I inquired with the hotel, the clerk made one call and did not get an answer then told me to call the bank myself to take care of it. Since I was on vacation for relaxation, I did not call. I refused to let anyone spoil my trip even after all of this.

The beach. Rooms were horrible, many things broken, overall run down, no outside jacuzzi. The beach was beautiful, but beyond that would never to go back. Extremely disappointing.

Food and service were fantastic but the accommodation is well past it's sell-by date. It's not worth the extra money to stay here.

This hotel excedded expecations in amenities, activities and all-inclusive options, like five dining facilities, sailing, skiing, swinning with Giant Sea Turtles on site etc. I also liked that premium drinks. The hotel fell a bit short on luxury. There were permanent stains in the tub, bed was two twins shoved together rather than a king, and the room was small. Overall staff was cutious. Some were fantastic and personable, while others were short. For the money, this was a great, especially with kids.

My wife and I were so excited to have the opportunity to celerate our 1 yr anniversary at your hotel. Unfortunately, my brother suffered a stroke so we had to cancel our trip. We immediately called Online Travel Website to cancel. Sadly, my brother died as a result of this stroke. Again, I called Online Travel Website to ask for their help in obtaining a refund for our trip. They were able to have the airline refund our money. HOWEVER, when it came to the hotel, Online Travel Website and my wife have made phone calls since November 30th to present December 28th but to no avail. Online Travel Website informed me that X in the hotel's reservation department asked that I fax a letter from the funeral home. This was done twice, December 4th and 7th. Y at the hotel confimred that she received the fax. She further stated that she would discuss this with the manager, Z. Once again today and for the last 19 days Online Travel Website and I have called to find out what the hotel could do to help us out. Day after day, the hotel tells us that Scott is either not available or he's not in. We asked if we could get a credit from the hotel to be able to go at a later date; they said no. We asked for a partial refund since it was an "all inclusive" rate and we weren't there so we didn't eat any food nor consume any alcohol; they stated they would get back to us. We don't understand how such a highly rated hotel could be so inconsiderate. They just keep making one excuse after another. We're at a loss!!! We want to hear from someone at the hotel. Thank you!

almond beach village is a decent hotel for the money we spent. we traveled in the middle of september and it was not too crowded. environmental problems: 1.the hotel charges $60 US for a tour to snorkel with turtles. they feed the turtles and hold the turtles. it is not good to feed them and they certainly should not be handled. 2. the hotel is supposed to be a part of some environmental hotel group, but they housekeeping always changed our towels even though we did not want them changed AND we always got straws in our drinks. the hotel was not supposed to change towels if you didn't ask or give you straws but they did anyways. the good: pools are nice and clean. alcohol drinks are strong and plentiful. housekeeping kept room fairly clean. beach was nice with plenty of chairs, shade trees, and umbrellas. there is a self-serve beverage/ice cream and cappuccino area. it is nice to be able to get soomething when you want. (i suggest you bring a water bottle for drinks on the beach because the cups they give you are small). there is a free trip to go to one of the southern beaches and play cricket. it was fun. the bad: beds were hard. only 13 channels of t.v. we had a room by the adult pool. there is a weekly reggae party until 11 p.m. and it is loud. the adult pool is also the most crowded and loudest place to be. if you want peace and quiet, go to another pool. waitstaff and bartenders were nice for the most part (i know it is an all-inclusive, but it is nice if you just leave $1 or $2). vegetarian options are not that great. one of the vendors selling the turtle tour on the beach at the hotel was extremely rude to my husband. i know he was uneducated but it really put a bad taste in our mouths for some of the locals.

We purchased two all-inclusive rooms for 7 nights which cost just under *. For that price, I expected nicer rooms. The appearance of the "deluxe" bedroom itself was okay; however, the beds were as hard as rocks. The bathrooms were very disappointing due to the dirty shower grout and stained toilet seats. We were also plagued by tiny bugs in the sink area. The cleaning lady, however, did a very thorough job each day. On the bright side, they had an excellent kid's club and the food was good. There were also plenty fo activities to keep everyone as busy as they wanted to be. Overall, we will not return due to the state of the rooms.

Check-in was so relaxed, sit down, have a rum punch and the room details are provided. Up-graded to a beach front view we were close to the Sugar Mill converted to a wedding chapel where we witnessed several couples making their vows. Several pools and well kept beach areas provided the option to find a quiet spot or mingle with families. Five restaurants made sure there were plenty of eating options, the service was good, the food excellent arriving on really hot plates. La Smarrita is a really first class Mediterranean style restaurant, a rare find in even the best of hotels; we were fortunate to get reservations on two occasions. Four well kept courts with a visiting pro met our tennis needs. Opportunities to see the Island from land or sea were offered daily; the four-by-four tour took us of the beaten track to places we would never have found on our own. No hesitation to recommend Almod Beach Village

Great place to relax and very peaceful. You have to leave the resort for excitement and fun, but overall it was enjoyable. The staff was very friendly.
