The stay Allerdale was extremely enjoyable we stayed for a long weekend in October and the hotel was clean, friendly and delightful. The rooms were clean, tidy and well equipped with TV, tea making facilities and hair dryers. The snooker room was a wonderful treat with plenty of space and added great value to the stay. The hotel staff were friendly and made a special effort to improve our stay by providing local knowledge, opening the bar and even bacon butties! All in all this was a wonderful stay and everyone enjoyed themselves and given a chance we would certainly stay here again.

hotel seemed to be confused when breakfast would be served , changing times on the spur of the moment . only half hour slot for breakfast eg 8.30-9am no leeway for late risers. this hotel also has no shower in room and only a small size bath unable to bathe fully.we had a very noisy stay over the weekend due to the thinness of the walls and drunken guests next door
