Guests at the Alla Residenza Domus Minervae can park in the adjacent secure car park, and then walk to the nearby shops and restaurants or even all the way into Perugia’s historic old town section. A public indoor/outdoor swimming pool is only a couple of blocks away. Umbria is considered the “green heart of Italy,” and Perugia is its capital. There is no airport in the city. Visitors arrive via car by Autostrada A1 or Superstrada E45. There are frequent direct trains from Firenze and Rome, including one from the Roma Fiumicino Airoport "Leonardo da Vinci." Visitors can also take a bus from that airport to Perugia.
