The Excellent All American Inn & Suites is the newest hotel in Norwalk, Ohio, home of the premier drag racing facility, Norwalk Raceway Park. We are conveniently located on St Rt 250 (Milan Ave) just 3 miles south of the Ohio Turnpike (80/90) and only 5 miles from the raceway. The hotel has all interior corridors with a lovely heated indoor pool area located at the front of the hotel with an inviting whirlpool as well. All rooms are graciously appointed with 25 inch cable tv, free HBO, pay per view movies, coffeemakers, hairdryers, ironing boards and irons, free wireless internet throughout the entire facility and in-room safes. A delightful continental breakfast is served every morning along with a complimentary newspaper. The hotel has 3 floors with an elevator as well and we have beautiful king room suites equipped with oversized whirlpool tubs that are separate from the bathroom. There is a great honeymoon suite as well with an indoor balcony that overlooks the pool area. Decided last minute to plan a trip to Cedar Point and for the price the hotel was more than expected. Room was very large (we had a king size bed w/jacuzzi)and clean. Hotel in general was a little outdated, but clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered was standard continental, nothing more. Overall would go back.

Bed was comfortable. Some bathroom fixtures didn't work properly. I stayed in the junior executive suite which featured a whirlpool and a small balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was friendly, albeit not the most professional. However, the Wi-Fi for my laptop did not allow me to connect to the Internet and some of the bathroom fixtures leaked around their edges and the shower head felt like it was pelting me with BB's. The exercise room was roughly a third a size of my room and contained equipment that might have been useful a decade ago. The pool was closed by the county health commissioner; I was told this was due to some malfunctioning of the pool's heater. Overall, the stay was about as expected. I've seen better and I've seen worse.

We thought this location was closer to Lake Erie than it was so we checked out early. Also the indoor pool was dirty and the whirlpool was just a warm tub of water--not a whirlpool!!!! We stayed at the Best Budget Inn on Lake Erie with a waterfront room for only *more a night.

First, the service was excellent. The hotel is located north of the very nice town of Norwalk. The rooms were aged and maintenance was a bit below standard, however, the rooms were priced appropriately. I would suggest that they invest into updating before things get worse.

We stayed here to go to Cedar Point on a family vacation. The staff is friendly, hotel room was ok, a little mold on the bathroom wallpaper but has no bathroom fan to draw out the moisture from the shower so that would happen easily. We stayed here 2 days, the jacuzzi was broken, maid came in and picked up the dirty towels and left clean towels but did not make the beds the 2nd day. Breakfast isn't that good compared to other hotels, cereal, pastries, toast, did have some oatmeal packets available. Hotel was ok but saw several others that were cheaper and closer to Cedar Point that would have been just as nice for quality and location.

We were going to Cedar Point for a little getaway and we chose this hotel because the nightly rate was extremely cheap! The pictures looked great online, however when we got there you could tell the pictures were taken around the time they built the hotel. Things were a little downhill compared to the pictures. The location was great, close to restaurants, 20 min. from the Sandusky mall and 1/2 hr away from the park. Our room was clean, however there were suspicious stains all over the walls. We got a king suite and the whirlpool had a ring around the top. The AC broke the 2nd day we were there, and they upgraded us to the Executive Suite, which the whirlpool had some other nasty things sitting in the drain. It was overall ok, but not what I expected!

Price was right and the room was quiet. The cheap radio alarm clock was worthless. A nice stay if you don't mind being woke up by the telephone. They have a clean pool and a good computer/printer to use.

Overall the hotel was good. It is definately over priced. We paid around plus tax. Typically a hotel like this normally runs about . The hotel selection for this area is very limited. My suggestion is stay in Sandusky.

Right away when we walked in to check into the hotel we were greeted with a smile, that didn't stop there. Every staff member we talked to was extremely polite and helpful. There was always a great amount of towels and if we ran out they were more then happy to hand more over. The hot tub sadly was being worked on during our stay but the pool was nicely heated and very clean. The hotel was about 20 minutes away from Cedar Point and near plenty of restaurants and places to find food. Our room was cleaned and stocked every day. The continental breakfast was small but had pretty much the main things. For the price we payed the hotel was excellent!!!

The staff was very nice. We arrived well before check in and they let my kids swim in the pool while they cleaned our room. Our room was very clean. Nice place for the money. If going to Cedar Point its a little bit of a ride-but its away from the crowds.

Close to location. Jacuzzi jets did not work. This place is great. The room was clean and close to destination which was Cedar Point. Jacuzzi jets on the other hand did not work, but the pool was good. The rooms were smoke-free family friendly and clean. The hotel did offer the ability to hook up console gaming systems. Service on check-in and check-out was very simple and easy.

Overall the hotel was ok. It needs some routine maintenance, vacuuming in the corners, a lock on the outside door was broken, the pool could be scrubbed. We had a good time and the pool area was set up nicely.

We were looking for a hotel that wasn't $140 and close to Cedar Point. This one worked out great. It is only about 15-20 minutes from the park and right off of 250. The rooms were just fine and seemed as clean as any other hotel I stay at. Breakfast in the morning is limited to cereal and store bought muffins, but was fine for the kids. Pool area was great for the kids, they loved it. Hot tub didn't really put out "bubbles", just water from the jets. I had read some reviews about the late check in and booking problems and was a little nervous at first. However, we called early on the check in day to confirm a late check in and also that everything was confirmed. I would stay here again for our next trip to Cedar Point. Better than paying twice as much for a motel closer to the park.

The hotel clerk was very helpful and respectful. I thought the look of the hotel was awesome it was very close to food locations and other shopping which was nice. I would definately recommend staying here again!!
