Hotel in good location for sightseeing in a reasonably quiet area - apart from a nearby rock concert til 4am. Typically very small rooms but comfortable enough, though NOT soundproof as stated. Continental breakfast was fine, as was the staff but would have liked a bar in the hotel though.

Decent Location, alothough there is a bit of swopping on the metro to get there, but ther metro is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms a re typically small but clean. Breakfast was good....checkin staff were very plesent and helpful. Let us change to a lower floor without any hassle. All in all a positive experience

Pretty disappointing. The room was cramped and smelled of stale cigarette smoke including our 'fresh' towels. The walls were predictably paper thin, and we could hear our lively neighbours breathing. The plumbing sounded a bit like a brass band and we were kept awake the first night by a sound like someone hammering on a pipe in the wall. It is also situated directly over the metro, so if you're sensitive to train noise, forget it. The staff were cheerfully unhelpful, although the plumbing noise was resolved for our final night. I guess this is typical of Paris, but compared to the spacious, clean and helpful establishments we've stayed in in this price bracket in other major European cities, this place was definitively bottom of the heap. The two youth hostels we stayed in in Paris had more ambience, less noise and felt cleaner.

Breakfast €11.50, WiFi expensive in hotel! Bit of sound from the rooms next door, but not much. Good range of TV channels including BBC World News.Air conditioning needs to be turned on at reception then can be controlled in the room.Very close to Charles Michel metro, plenty of bars/cafes near by

the hotel was fine for a couple of nights. The sound proof rooms were not at all sound proof. We could the people next door going to the toilet!!! You could barely turn around in the shower but overall the place was clean enough. We were only there to sleep and shower so it was fine. Although the bed wasn't that comfy. For the price and location we would definately stay there again.

I would recommend this hotel for the location. It was located 2 minutes from the nearest metro station and only a 20 minute walk (down the Seine) from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is well priced but basic, with a shower, bath and bed and not much else. The lift is small but big enough for 2 people and their luggage. The breakfast was expensive for what it was but if you are on a budget and want to stay in central paris. This place is for you.

Location of hotel was very handy. Situated in a square with the Metro at one side, a couple of nice bistro's and restaurants on another side, few shops such as a chemist on the other and a McDonalds. We found a use for all these facilities! The hotel was just what was needed for a short weekend break. Nothing overally flash but rooms clean, reasonably decorated and decent bathroom. You don't plan to spend a lot of time in your hotel anyway but would recommend this hotel to those planning a weekend away in Paris.

Don't stay it this hotel!!! On the inside/bed side of the bed spread it looked like someone had had lots of sex on it...cum marks all over the place The room was very small and stuffy. We were awakened by a couple in the next room at 2 AM. The lights in the hall ways were put on conserve (which I understand) but then when we went up the elevator or stairs at night it was extremeley dark and we had to hunt for the hall way light switch

Very good location, walking distance to many attractions. Air-condition in the room was more than we expected. The only negative was that the room was insufficiently sound-proofed.

An excellent little hotel, very close to the Eifel tower. Rooms were clean. Service from the staff was excellent. Great location very close to some nice bakeries the Monoprix supermarket and the metro stop also only a 20 minute walk to the tower. Only downside is the lift is a little small

Room small (I booked a "single") but clean and sensibly set up. Perfectly adequate for a night or two. No bar, but the breakfast was fine and the service friendly.

We were told that every place you stay in Paris is small so I guess it wasn't a surprise to find the room... well, small. The shower was so tiny that you couldn't even turn around in it (and we're not exactly big ppl) so yeah probably wouldn't stay here if your more than 6ft! Having said that the room was clean the staff spoke English and were quite nice. The location was good because we caught the metro everywhere in paris and there is a metro station very close to hotel.

We stay in Paris only 3 days, the hotel has a good relationship between price and quality. The location is good, near Tour Eiffel (15 min. by foot) and the surrundings are quiet. We haven't breakfast in the hotel.

My girlfriend and i stayed at the Alize Grenelle for three nights, and it is a charming little hotel in a nice location away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist locatons. The rooms are a little small, but clean and very pleasant, the only gripe we had was that i had booked a double and we got a twin!? We found the staff a little unhelpfull at times but it wasnt anything drastic, although being called a liar when there was a mystery phone call on the bill did annoy me. bathroom was very nice, and overall for the price i paid, i really couldnt have hoped for more.
