Location was outstanding, being able to walk to La Alhambra was so convenient; also the parking location and price were excellent. The hotel itself was lovely, elegant finishes and modern open concept lobby/lounge/restaurant, with lots of natural light. The breakfast server behind the bar was a delight, serenading us with quiet little songs as he worked with great efficiency to accommodate all the guests. The hotel guest room was clean and spacious, excellent A/C which was greatly appreciated. Overall the value for money was very good, we were sorry to only have 1 night planned for this destination. There was one unusual occurance: we purchased some of the La Alhambra souveniers at the front desk and the staff were unable/unwilling to provide a receipt.....makes one wonder where that cash was going. I was buying a video to be used in my work and wanted to be able to claim the expense, my employer requires proper receipts. The concierge implied that a 10 Euro purchase was too trivial to warrant any type of receipt. It was a very odd conversation to have as we were literally walking out the door to leave.

Second visit to AlhambraAn excellent hotel. The staff were very helpful except in one instance. The hotel is very close to the Alhambra, and therefore very convenient when visiting it. Parking cost 13.50 euros for 24 hours. On arrival (shortly before 6:00 pm) we were told we could leave the car until 6:00 pm the next day, but the next morning the receptionist told us we must take the car out of the car park by 1:00 pm. This could have proved inconvenient!

The staff is wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is not the best I have had in Spain, but very good! The location could not be better! The only bad thing I can say is that I had some trouble with the WiFi. It worked most of the time, but would stop randomly.

Was probably once a grand hotel right across the road from the Alhambra. Has gone into gentle decay- the bathrooms are a little dated, cracked tiles etc. Nevertheless good value and a superb location. Excellent breakfast included. Like most Spanish hotels, it did not have a bedside clock.

This is a wonderful hotel if you don't mind walking up and down slopes to downtown. It's quite close to the Alhambra and the east side of Granada, and in relatively close proximity to most of the sights to see. The hotel was really clean and tastefully decorated, and the staff at the reception desk were very helpful. They could speak English but reply in Spanish when they can tell you want some more experience with Spanish. They're also very helpful. The hotel is located in a very scenic part of Granada as well - surrounded by trees and mountains, and is away from the hustle and bustle of the city (although is within walking distance from downtown). I really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Walking distance to the Alhambra (if you are planning on visiting Alhambra, make sure you buy the tickets before you get there as you might run in the problem on finding the tickets are sold out). Excellent service. If you get tired of the spaniard food which I doubt you will, you can always get a pizza delivered to your room, we did that one night and it was very good. Bring comfortable shoes as you will walk a lot especially up and down hills. Transportation from hotel to the center of town is very easy as you will find a bus stop within walking distance from the hotel. The only thing I didn't like that much was the bed, not that comfortable, but then, that is the same way for most of the old towns in Spain. Don't expect a bed that you will find even in a 3 stars US hotels.

The hotel room was clean and spacious and the staff all very helpful. The breakfast and the evening meal were buffets which I appreciate is easier for the staff but food cools when left in trays. There was a better choice of cold food over the hot. The hotel is situated just up the hill from the entrance to the Alhambra Palace so the position is excellent. The only point to note is that there is a long walk down to the town and a steep walk back up the hill to the hotel. For those people who cannot walk to far there are mini buses which run fairly regularly. We only stayed 2 nights and this was not long enough to see all the sites in the area.

A very busy hotel with a lot of groups checking in and out all the time. Restaraunt very busy too. Situation handy for the Alhambra but not for anywhere else in Granada. Parking 13.5e per day in Alhambra car parks. Pay any time and get a ticket to come and go as you please. (This was not explained fully by hotel staff and would have been useful to know).Room was well furnished and clean but not sound proofed and for some reason very hot. It was mid winter but we slept with the window open. I would not have liked to pay the full price for this hotel but at the offer price it was not a bad deal.

If you like big busses in front of your hotel all the time, a very expensive place to park your car, the smell of sewage in your room and a hotel away from everything BUT the alhambra, this hotel is for you. It looks great online, but if you have a desire to see real spain this is NOT your hotel. Everything you do there is extra money. Parking cost over $20 per night. Traveling into town is usually a 20 minute commute. Do yourself a favor: Get a nice hotel in Granada (which is a beautiful city) and spend money ONE TIME on the easy bus to the Alhambra.

if the intention is to visit al-hamra then this hotel is ideally located as it is almost in front of the ticket office. the downtown area where most of the restaurants are located is also not more than 20 minutes walking distance with a pleasant walking path. though the rooms are smaller in size but not too bad. we would definitely stay here if we return back.

The hotel staff were simply amazing - professional, eloquent, and friendly. The accomodations were lovely. The location was fantastic! All in all a wonderful hotel. The value incredible.

The hotel is literally across from Alhambra - which is great if that's your main reason for visit. However it's a bit of a hike to center of Granada. Goign to the center is all downhill so not a big deal - 15-20minutes. Coming back you will need to grab a taxi ~10 euro. The rooms are big and clean, there is a small but nice pool, and the location is very quiet. The staff spoke English very well and were helpful. There is free WiFi in the hotel but if you don't have a computer there is a computer in the lobby which is NOT free.

The location is great, next to the Alhambra palace.Bus stop close to the hotel, bus every 10 minutes, down town.Nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, lunch, dinner and buffet. The swimmingpool is nice and clean and so was our bedroom.Parking space located in the basement.

room - not sound proof! heard all our neighbours running water and banging doors, getting up early breakfast before morning entry to Alhambra Palace.Buffet - had to return food and request a new meal when the 'hot' food turned out to be luke warm before it was decanted onto cold plates. Very unimpressed. Courteous staff replaced meal with no arguement.Main asset is its position - 2 mins from the Palace entrance and on a bus route to the city which gives more options

This hotel is described as 4 star but it is more like 3 star. We could not get anything to eat at the hotel outside the strictly designated meal times. It is an easy walk to the Alhambra and the room was large and sunny.
