The room was clean and simple, and ideal for an overnight stay or weekend break. I would not want to stay for longer as there was very little space for luggage (not even a wardrobe!) The balcony had a lovely view of the marina but would not fit 2, albeit large, adults on it. The service was fantastic and the young lady on reception went out of her way to help us, she phoned the nearby casino to help us overcome the dress code. Breakfast was lovely and was taken on the terrace which really added to the experience.

Very hot roomParking OK in designated area of public car park 2min walk over bridge and boardwalk. The hotel itself was lovely. Charming staff, elegant arty decor, great views over the Marina from the bar and the restaurant. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast with the best scrambled egg. Hotel is in a nice group of restaurants and facilities. It is a long walk from Brighton and you have to negotiate traffic or use subway to get onto the Marina which I didn't like. Regular buses though. Room very clean, modern, nice if small bathroom. Only problem was it was so hot we couldn't sleep and was too noisy with window open. We were facing inland so maybe its better facing the sea and on the top floor.

The hotel was beautifully situated and was clean and bright. The restaurant although expensive served the best food we had eaten in a while although the breakfast on the Sunday could've been hotter but they were extremely busy. The room was compact and very warm although a fan was provided. All in all a great place to stay and somewhere I would definately go back to.

I went to suprise my parents on holiday. They were thrilled and the staff entered into the spirit of the intrigue.... helping me to arange a treat or two and also keeping quiet! The hotel was lovely, the views interesting and the quality of the rooms very good. I loved the shampoo and shower gel.A good place to stay for young and old, lots to do, places to walk and lots of restaurants and the people watching is second to none!!

overall the hotel is excellent our room was fantastic overlooking the harbour with a large balcony we will definately go back--however there were two not so good thing firstly when we arrived and went upto our room there was dirty bags of laundry in the corridor --secondly breakfast was very disappointing we ordered coffee and waited ages and then when it arrived no cups so we had to take them off another table!!we ordered eggs benedict and it was awful although the rest of the food was satisfactory. All in all a great break.

Cool weekend at Hotel Seattle!Given the heatwave that started the weekend we went down to Brighton, we were thrilled to have a lovely large room with a balcony overlooking the Marina - very cool! The bed was wonderfully comfortable - as we've always found in another Alias hotel in Exeter. Breakfasts were fine; food at the evening meal we had was not spectaculr, but the setting more than made up for it. Service was friendly and efficient throughout.

Cool PlaceThe seaviews are really nice, and the bar is very cool, but in a good way. Room rate a bit pricey though.

Refreshingly clean, casual & comfortable - great serviceI was pleasantly surprised with the proactive and pleasant manner of all the staff. I originally booked a double room online and requested a baby cot for our stay, not knowing the rooms were not large enough to accomodate a cot. Within 24 hours of our booking, I received a phone call from the hotel advising of the issue and were easily able to accomodate us in a larger room for an additional 10pounds. The hotel itself was modern, clean yet casual and although only in town for 24 hours, was relaxing. The location was great, situated right on the marina, with plenty of restaurants and shops.

Brighton breakGreat boutique style hotel room overlooking the marina, bar overlooking the marina, plenty of restaurants within 2 mins walking distance, 30 mins walk into Brighton, great room for a family of 4, with flat screen TV iPod docking stereo. King size bed.

The hotel was great, you would not expect the interior from the outside, it was fantastic.

A very enjoyable weekendWe had a great time. The hotel was very clean. Staff were very helpful, knowledgable (of wines) and friendly, way above expectations - so a big well done. Our only slight disappointment was with the room size - quite small for the cost. Having seen the larger rooms with the view of the marina, I would go for that another time.

Hotel with a viewThis hotel is a minimum of 45 min WALK from the vibrant life of Brighton - so need to update their description, and quickly. Buses run very regularly (about 10 minute walk from the hotel) to the town centre and a bus ticket is valid until 4am the next morning. Great value for money. The hotel room was very basic but refreshing. The view from marina room was fantastic. A choice of restaurants and bars available at the Marina if you don't want Brighton centre. Breakfast was fair, but don't get too excited about an English breakfast. Although sausages, bacon, tomatoes, egg etc is served, it is flavoured with garlic! Not what you need after the night before...........For peace and quiet and a relaxing couple of nights chose this hotel.

Great locationWould prefer an actual wardrobe, not just a rail and the shower was lacking power but lovely clean, cool room. Staff all really friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks good and bar terrace definitely the highlight.

Accommodation & FoodThe hotel provided a delightful contemporary setting. The room was clean and well equipped with all the relevant basic needs. Bathroom was well designed with lovely complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff were very accommodating.

SeattleThe Seatlle retains its modern airy feel. Free parking is always a bonus in the Brighton area and a plethora of predominantly Italian chain restaurants make the boardwalk area almost busy.Fine weather only enhances the marina view and friendly relaxed service at the Seattle adds to the friemdly ambiance.Only minor faults with the room and a very weal wi-fi signal detract from the Seattle experience.

lovely stay, great hotel, friendly staff, clean room, and a great breakfast. hotel is absolutely lovely. very warm welcome. arrived early for the room, but was able to check in straight away. hotel is out of brighton centre-but is a walkable distance and the little train to the pier is a nice trip for minimal cost. was disapointed i was only able to stay one night!!
