The Alexis Park Inn and Suites is an intimate all-suites hotel with a bed and breakfast ambience. Each suite is super-sized and decorated to reflect a unique period of aviation history, starting with the Wright Brothers Suites 1900s theme, and progressing up to the 1990s with the Reno Air Race suite -- and everything in between. All guests received our signature delivered-to-your-suite continental breakfast each morning, made up of fresh bakery, juice or fruit, coffee, tea, and the local morning newspaper. Most suites have full kitchens, queen or king beds, and many have 2-person jacuzzi hot tubs. Wireless internet throughout and free local phone calls. Our Health Spa is open! We offer our guests the use of a new poolside exercise room, with ergonomically designed machines to let our guests work out the stress of the day. And our beautiful outdoor swimming pool is open from Memorial to Labor Day each year.

I really enjoyed the fact that they bring your complimentary breakfast right to your door. I was very impressed with the hospitality of the hotel staff. The room was spacious with a full kitchenette and a small outdoor patio. I will stay here again if I ever make it back to Iowa City.

As a single female traveler, my main concern in safety. not only did I feel safe but the staff of the Inn made me feel very welcome. It wasn't what I expected, it was better. It's close to Iowa City and I was able to walk there in about 20 minutes. The rooms were clean and decently appointed. This isn't a 5 start place, but for the price it was good. I loved not having to fight lines for breakfast as it was brought to my door. I didn't try the flight simulator or the pool, but the wireless internet was adequate for my use. A person who might need more speed might find it a little slow. All in all, the Alexis Park Inn is a great affordable place to stay. I would highly recommend it!

The kitchenette in the room and the complimentary breakfast delivered to my room. Old fashioned keyed locks instead of swipe card. The airplane theme/decor of the hotel room was quaint and unique. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and the desk staff friendly. I liked the kitchenette in the room and having the complimentary breakfast delivered to the room in the morning.

This turned out to be a wonderful experience. Great room, super staff, the room themes are aviation oriented and just terrific with many pictures and memorbilia to support the themes. Each suite has an individualized theme and decore to fit. The continental brkfst served at your door is a very nice touch. There is an airplane simulator for you to fly or try and the classic movies abouta aviation were great with the crowd like being in your liviing room. Snacks and refreshment( a little beer was available) for the movie. Just a great experience. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Plenty of space andgood price. Hot, air conditioning didn't work. Friendly, helpful staff; room like a mini-apartment; free breakfast basket delivered in morning; decent location; Jacuzzi tub in room. Our biggest problem was the air conditioner not working making it hot!

Due to a health condition riding is extremely difficult for me. At check-in I requested an upgrade to a spa room hoping the tub would ease away some of my pain. Not only did that help but the suite we were assigned was so delightful we canceled our plans for the next lap of our trip and stayed a second day. Everything was very clean, the suites were well designed and 'user friendly' and the staff was super helpful. The personally delivered breakfast each morning was an absolute treat.We'll return here again. "

Lovely people who run it, not a high class motel but clean. It doesn't look like much from the outside. However they do not allow partying so it's quiet. Also has free washer and dryer at certain hours.

My wife and I have stayed at the Alexis Park Inn and Suites on several occasions. The aviation theme is great! Many of the suites have been decorated in themes of particular eras of aviation. Very interesting and historic. Many of the suites also have hot tubs, great for relaxing after a long trip or during a weekend getaway.
