Awesome value for money!When booking the Alexandra Hotel (or New Alexandra Hotel as it is sometimes called although there is nothing really new) my priority was on a very cheap hotel in an excellent location a little off the party scene.The hotel accomplished 95% of what I was looking for:- I only paid 120.00 EUR incl. breakfast for 6 nights in high season (+ 23.00 EUR for the use of the fridge in my room for 1 week)- The location was only a couple of blocks away from the major party scene, hence u didn't hear any noise- I had WIFI in my room for 3.00 EUR per hr- The pool in the inner courtyard was a joke but at least they had one - apparently there was another one on the roof, which I haven't checked- Reception staff is very friendly- I never made it to breakfast as it ends at 10am ;o)- AC was old but OK- I had the feeling that house keeping came once or twice a day - they definitely mob the floors every day- The bathroom was a bit shabby but alright- TV in the roomVerdict: Awesome value for money if u only spend little time in the room and when u go to bed a little drunk u fall asleep right away anyway... ;o)Recommendation: My friends stayed at the Valentina Hotel just next door, which is a beautiful, modern and new looking hotel and I assume that it doesn't cost much more than the Alexandra. My friends were very happy with it.
