Alexandra House rests on the Melbourne side of Ballarat, only minutes from the CBD and local tourist attractions. It is a heritage-listed property built in 1908, recently refurbished containing many original works.

Alexandra House offers four elegant and specious bedrooms well appointed with ensuite and includes many original features with all the modern luxuries of today. The main property also features several sitting rooms, should you wish to mingle with other guests, along with a billiard room with onsite bar.

What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is served daily between 8:00am and 10:00am, either Continental or fully cooked, depending on room purchased.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a local bus service in the area. Bus stop is approximately 100m from our property. All major attractions within Ballarat are accessible by the local bus system. Melbourne Airport is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away, there is a local shuttle bus which runs several trips everyday to and from the airport.
What can I do nearby?: Property is located approximately 5 minutes’ drive from town. As we are located within Ballarat, all of the Ballarat attractions are fully accessible i.e. Sovereign Hill, Art Gallery, Ballarat Wildlife Park, Eureka Centre, Botanical Gardens, etc.
Do you have internet?: Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Costs are as follows: 15 minutes at $4.00, 1 hour at $6.00, 24 hours at $20.00, and 7 days at $40.
