Date of Stay:

Affordable, efficiently managed to get me what I needed. The room furnishings were appropriate for what I paid.

The neighbourhood seems a bit shady, but nothing compared to any average metro area. 300m from Queens street, 2km from downtown. Great location and out of the way.

Within walking distance of many attractions, shopping and restaurants. The promised wireless internet did not work. It was what I expected - a cheap place to sleep at the end of the day. Not luxurious or fancy by any means, in fact a kind of dorm room feeling. However, that was what I expected, so I wasn't that disappointed with it. The room was clean, if small, but efficient.

This hotel is off the beaten path and is located on a street with several homeless shelters. The neighborhood does not feel safe. The rooms are run down. It seems to be the type of hotel that people are living at. When my cab driver pulled up to drop me off he said, ""Please don't stay here."" The staff were rude and unfriendly.

Location. They charged me for every single thing. Parking and for one of my babes. They just told me at the at the end. Good location. The zone could seems bad, but its OK. Cost is OK. However be careful with the extra charges, for parking and for the number of guest.

The room was clean and the hotel secure. Not in the greatest area, but not too bad. Within walking distance of tons of great eateries and shops. I will stay here again.

Simple yet adequate. This place is perfect for people looking for a decent place to stay. It doesn't even look like a hotel, more like an apartment building, but the room was clean, and all the basic amenities were there, TV, internet, etc. Very spartan accommodations, but I had no complaints, especially for the money.

the Alexandra has been converted from apartments, so a kitchenette sticks out in the rooms, but that could be nice if you're staying longer. The place is a little minimal and scruffy, kind of light on the amenities, but for a minimal/cheap place to crash as you explore Toronto, it's great. If you're into young, hip neighborhoods, this hotel is great: Queen St. just down the road is great fun.

The hotel was average but I would definitely go there again. Despite the adequate furnishings the facility is well maintained. The interior had a Salvation Army feel to it, but was definitely well maintained. I would definitely go there again. If you're the type like me who doesn't mind living in an adequate hotel as long as it's well maintained then this is the place for you. I think the staff needs a little work on their bedside manner but other than that, the stay was well worth the money.

Didn't care about how many people stayed in the room. Dumpy. This hotel was basically a place to sleep. For my friends, it was good because it was cheap and it was likely we weren't going to disturb families.

Price, location and familiarity (I've stayed there since early '90s). No real complaints; it's not fancy, though. Fine: clean, quiet, inexpensive and close to Chinatown, just a short walk to central Toronto.

Flexible and relaxed staff. Could have been a little cleaner, but wasn't bothered us. This hotel is a 4 minutes walk from Queen and Bathurst. A very convenient location. It was fairly inexpensive too. Be nice to them and they are nice to you. No real complaints.

Convenient location. Staff was rude. When I first pulled up, I did not think the neighborhood was that bad. And when I first walked in, I did not think it was that bad either. The man at the desk was very friendly. The parking fee was $4.00 which was fine. I left to go to a concert and when I got back, there were no parking spaces so I had to park on the street (luckily I did not get ticketed) however, this made that $4.00 pointless. The stay was fine.

Efficiency unit, had cooking/refrigerator unit. Salvation Army decor. Situated near open green space, with the wonderful Toronto people to admire added to the kaleiscopic - mosaic adventure. The room smelt and looked clean, but the outdated decor, poor mattress quality.

Good price good location close to street car quiet hotel onsite parking have stayed at this hotel for many times over the years.

It had 2 beds, and they still had smoking rooms. It was a bit dark. It was nice if you wanted to stay for a couple days’s and did not feel like going out for food all the time it’s got a pretty full kitchen. Also it was really close to everything I was looking. For example I and my friend were there for fun, we went to the velvet underground which is less then 5 min away it was also really close to Kensington Market.

Was relatively clean. Very old furnishings, old building, small rooms.

Distance from the baseball stadium. The room smelled like smoke and they could not move me. This hotel was in a somewhat run down neighborhood off one of the main streets in Toronto. The distance from nightlife was very good. The room smelled like cigarettes but got better after a day or so.

Nothing. Rude people, run down. NA.
Date of Stay:

Nearness to Rogers centre. Funny smell when entering room. Small rooms, friendly desk staff, not the most comfortable beds, clean.
