European Atmosphere. Your hosts are fluent in Dutch, German, Italian, French, and Swiss, and they also speak some Spanish. They have been residents of Alaska for 33 years and are happy to share their knowledge of Alaska with you. We offer delicious homemade European-style breakfasts, and are happy to accommodate the needs of travelers from all over the world. We are proud to assist mountain climbers who stay with us before and after their trips by allowing them to use our large backyard for spreading and drying tents and other equipment. We also offer our garage for equipment storage and we can store important documents, such as your passport, in our safe while you are out climbing the mountain. What are your breakfast options?: We have a full breakfast with eggs, fruits, pancakes, yogurts, muffins, breads, coffee, etc., or a Continental breakfast with muffins, breads, fruits, coffee, etc.
What traveller type is most suited?: We service just about every group of guests. We have business people who like to stay a week, doing business in Alaska, Mountain climbers in May, Fisherman Int. Cruise couples, etc.
What transport is available to get around?: Buses are on the corner of the street.
What can I do nearby?: Free DVDs are available to use. We are on walking distance from all activities like restaurants, cinemas, grocery stores, department stores.
Do you have internet?: Yes we do have internet and it is wireless in the rooms. It is free for our guests to use.
Do you provide parking?: We have a large parking area in front of the house and of course automatic snowplowing in winter time.
