Akamanthea Holiday Village

The Akamanthea Holiday Village is situated in Prodromi, between the town of Polis and the popular fishing village of Latchi, about 2 km away from both. The blue flag beach is only a short 400-metre stroll away. It is also just 400 metres from the main road, where several tavernas, restaurants, bars and shops can be found. The Baths of Aphrodite are about 2 km away.

The superb design and build is based on a Cypriot village with a neo-classical character. Soft pastel colours and furnishings reflect the local style. There is a pleasant informal ambience that helps enhance the feeling of relaxation. It has 76 rooms in total, as well as air conditioning, a lobby, a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facility, a bar, TV lounge, cycle hire service, a restaurant and conference facilities. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car. Younger guests are sure to enjoy the playground.

This hotel has open plan studios (lounge, kitchen, bathroom) or one bedroom apartments with a separate bedroom. Light pastel colours and Cypriot coloured drapery and furniture feature. As it is a low-built resort, there is a choice of either a balcony or a terrace with direct access to the grass lawns. To reach the holiday village turn left at Paphos airport, and at the next T junction take a right. Go left at the next turn and follow the signs for Paphos. Travel along the dual carriage way in a westerly direction, and at the first roundabout on the outskirts of Paphos take the Polis exit following the signs for Polis which will lead onto the B7. This road leads over the hills and mountains to Polis. After passing the petrol station on the outskirts of Polis, take the first left (on the right-hand side the Cyprus Tourist Organisation office will be visible). Follow the road for about 1 km and on the right there will be a kiosk/shop and a Buy Sell estate agency. Take the next right and the hotel's signs will be in sight. The hotel is 300 m away.
