This is a horrible place to stay, consider spending a few more bucks and staying elsewhere. Very noisy, very old, very shabby, you'll be embarrased to stay here.

Does its job. Good cheap place near the airport.

My stay there was very comfortable. I received all calls and faxes made to me through the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were kinda dark but ideal for lots of rest.

Great Service! The people that work there are great!! I always stay there when I go to Miami and I will keep going! thanks! - Kon

Just horrible! Huge party all night long in the room next door. Fearful to go to the lobby because I felt unsafe. Worried about the safety of my two children. Washers did not work. Filthy rooms. Do yourself a favor and find a room at another hotel!

Room was small, bath was old and needed upgrading - staff was friendly and efficient - TV had 20 channels but half were duplicated so it was really only 10 - for the price it worked out fine - close to A/P and the shuttle service was nice.

In general the hotel was very dirty. Very loud noise all night long with excessive drunk partying next door. Fearful for safety and yet afraid to walk to the hotel desk to request a different room. Good location near airport, pool.

For one day stay near the airport and considering the reasonable price, with a good breakfast included, I think it is worth it. I would not recommend it for a long stay, although the place is old, it was kept clean.

Sat by pool waiting for room to be ready and slept

Horrible place to stay, very depressing atmosphere in the never-ending corridors with bad light. Ceiling parts missing, showing old electic wires, rust and a lot of dust. Rooms have not been taken care for for at least a decade, painting coming off the walls in the shower, mushrooms and rust in the corners of the shower, curtains almost falling off. The only good thing was the bed, so thank god we slept well. The included "breakfast" has to be taken between 8.30 and 9.00 a.m. and consists of slices of white bread, jam, a toaster and very poor coffee, to take off a table and to put on plastic little plates with plastic forks and knives and plastic cups. Only 4 seats for everybody.....! So eating is done standing up. The location near the international airport is the only convenient part of staying in this hotel.

This hotel is very old and has a terrible smell. Everything about it was old. We also waited over 1 hour for shuttle and after several phone calls finally took a taxi

A very basic hotel. Cheap in price and accommodation.

We didn't want to stay in the room for the evening, so we went to dinner at a nice area of Miami. We were staying at the hotel prior to leaving on a cruise the next day. We were given conflicting information about transportation to the Port of Miami, and had to wait an hour for the promised transportation. We were glad we tried to leave early, and were not in danger of missing our ship. We will stay away from this hotel chain in the future.

I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone.

ok . staff gave us permission to stay late in the pool which was very clean. if you can, stay on the main floor 'cause if you're on the second floor you'll have to carry your luggages up the stairs...

The carpet was so dirty, we were afraid to take off our shoes.

I thought the money I saved would be worth it. Now I will pay for a nicer hotel, it is not clean overall including my room. I had a super nice driver to the airport. Thats the only good thing in my opinion.

This was the worst hotel ever! Everyday we stayed in at room at night. At the same time every night at 12am the heat would no work! the room is so small it would get SUPER COLD , Freezing !Everyone in the hotel would say that the same thing happened to them to. I asked the front desk about the problem and all they can say is that they don't have heat because it's Miami! Right when the heaters work perfectly fine in the day time! Oh and it's also a bar/grill so you hear all the noisy drunk's at 1 or 2 in the morning. And the scary part is that they roam around in the halls right by the rooms. I found one right in front of my door! When I was heading to the front desk to get extra blankets. Am not going to lie but the room is so cold it makes your head and nose hurt. This was in Feb so maybe it's better in the summer. But if i were you i would look else where. Oh and for breakfast they only have toast! That's it!!! Just Bread! I could go on and on Just re-think this.

I knew the hotel would be old and dingy (with that price) but the fact it's on Orbitz and with OK reviews gave me confidence to book a room because it was near the airport - we wanted to save money and figured a bed is a bed, right? It was a mistake. The parade of terribles is extensive but the short list is: (1) We found a [*] in the bed and the staff tried to accuse us of putting it there when we complained; (2)Scary looking people just walked into our room twice while we were there and the staff did NOTHING about it. I think they were intending to steal from us thinking we were gone - but we were then terrified all the time we were there and worried all the time we were not in the room. (3)I couldn't let my teenage niece wear a swimsuit in the pool area for fear of the gangster looking men who were just loitering near the pool and our room entrance, leering at her the entire time we tried to swim in the OK pool. (4) The savings was eaten up by taxi cabs to get anywhere because it was not near anything. (5) When we tried to cancel our reservation, the staff acted like they didn't speak English and wouldn't help us get online to cancel through Orbitz so we ended up having to pay a $90 cancellation fee, which is bogus. Still, even with the fee, we had no choice but to stay elsewhere on our return to the Miami airport several days later. And I'm not a prude or country person - we travel extensively, internationally and are willing to put up with a lot. Don't stay here - it's not worth the $30 savings and could put you and your family in danger. I've even asked Orbitz to remove it from the list.

The Rosen Plaza was very nice! Tha room looked very clean and the design of the restroom was very kind, especially seperating the showering room and the washing-basin, which was great for my friend and me to manage the self-cleaning time during the morning. The location of the hotel was also very good. Universal Studio, Downtown Disney and Disneyland theme parks were not far away. By the way, the ticketing service at the lobby was very convenient, saving much time for staying in the line at the park.
