Airlie on the Square is a delightful bed and breakfast located in central Launceston, Tasmania’s northern city. Experience the picturesque Civic Square and warm traditional rooms.
There are single, double and triple rooms available. Each bedroom is spacious and has an en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities are available for guests as well as a small gymnasium. A hearty breakfast is included and can be enjoyed in the cosy breakfast room.
Sitting adjacent to the historic Town Hall, enjoy the nearby museums, art galleries and restaurants. Visit Old Launceston Seaport for a delicious dinner overlooking the Tamar River or stroll through York Park. The marvellous Cataract Gorge is a short distance away. Enjoy the scenery from the world’s longest single-span chairlift and meet the resident peacocks. Spend an afternoon exploring the Tamar Valley and visit the many cool climate wineries along your way. There are fruit orchards and roadside stalls to visit as well. Take a drive to the quaint historic towns nearby including Evandale and Longford.
