Set at the end of a path leading to a 13th century hermitage and to the woods of the Frati Bianchi (White Monks), this stone farmhouse, built at the beginning of the 1900s, has been carefully restored by Valeria and Corrado and now houses three apartments in the former stables and a larger apartment, Esinante, with fireplace, named after the local district. In 2005 the most ancient part of the farm was restored to obtain one new suite: Il Poggio. The interiors are decorated in delicate pastel colours and furnished in traditional Marche country style. The farm is strategically positioned (Ancona-Rome highway 2kms and Adriatic motorway 25kms), and is an excellent location from which to visit the regions abundant naturalistic and cultural sites: only a 30-60 minute drive to relax on the beaches at Senigallia (40kms), visit art cities such as Urbino (80kms), Gubbio (70kms), Ancona (40kms), Macerate (40kms), the Frasassi Caves (18kms), the Monti Sibillini National Park (80kms) and the numerous fortresses and castles (Jesi 15kms) etc.. On the farm guests can, on request, attend pottery and découpage courses. Wine enthusiasts can taste some of the excellent wines produced on the 15 hectare farm (the verdicchio Terre Silvate and Gli Eremi and the red SangioveseCabernet Nocenzio). Falconara Airport 25kms. How to arrive at the Farm house: From MilanBologna: take the highway A14, exit at Ancona Nord. Take the SS Jesi-Roma (direction Jesi) until exit n 11 (Apiro-Mergo).
