We had two rooms, the room for two was very comfortable but the single was very cramped. Elevator was very small, it could only accommodate one passenger and his suitcase. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

The location of the hotel was great. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the AC didn't work very well and room was a bit small. Overall this hotel was a good choice.

This is a great hotel. It?s still undergoing some renovations (carpet was being changed in hallways), but it only means that every appliance in our room was new and working just perfect. We stayed in a standard double room, decorated in shades of brown. The room?s design was excellent and very thoughtful. There was plenty of closet space and the bed was comfortable. To save space a flat screen TV was installed on the wall. The bathroom?s design was very thoughtful, too. This was the first time when my wife had enough space in a bathroom for all of her cosmetics and stuff. The hotel?s staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. The location was as great as the hotel. A metro station was just a couple of minutes away, so you can reach any place in central Paris in thirty minutes max. Notre Dame de Paris is a five-minute walk, and so is Pantheon. The Louvre is about twenty minutes away by foot. Check out the hotel?s location on google and you will realize how conveniently it?s located. We eat organic food, and there was an organic food store (also sold wine) two blocks away, and so was a specialty shop which sold organic/biodynamic wines, artesian cheese and meats. Two supermarkets were within reach, and so were specialty cheese, meat and seafood stores. Do you like freshly baked bread and pastries? Eric Kayser shop is around the corner from the hotel. We will stay in this hotel again.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and thought it was a very good value. The rooms were typically small as are many of the rooms in Paris but they were very well organized and comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking an ancient church and street corner--very picturesque. The day manager was extremely nice and always helpful. She answered all of our questions and filled our requests. I observed her helping another group book a tour to Versailles in a pleasant and professional manner. On the morning we ordered breakfast in the room, it was delivered promptly. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is certainly not a luxurious property, but it does have clean, pleasant rooms in an outstanding location. The bathrooms are recently renovated, the staff is very friendly and speaks English, and while the rooms are small by U.S. standards, they are quite reasonable for Europe. The location in the Latin Quarter couldn't be beat. You are easy walking distance to sites, restaurants and shops (we walked everywhere!) and the metro stop is only a block away. In a city where you can spend a lot of money on a hotel, the Agora is a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

My family and I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. We always bought baguettes and cakes at boulangerie Kayser (the best bread in Paris!), which is just very near Hotel Agora, in Rue Monge. Nearby we had lunch at a Hippopotamus restaurant in Rue Lagrange (nice hamburgers and salads).

I chose this hotel based on Travelocity ratings and was satisfied with my selection. The room is small but clean and basic conviences are available. The windows facing the street were double-pane so street noise was not a problem. The bathroom was remodeled and clean. The staff was friendly and communicating in English was not a problem. Location was good. Walking distance for a meal or transportation was not a problem. The only beef was the"double" bed was twosingles placednext to each other, not convenient for those who like to cuddle. Great place to stay for those who want a clean room for a reasonable rate.

I had a single room on the ground floor -- the only single room that was said to be available when I arrived. It was very clean, but also very small. The main problem, however, was the rumbling of the metro that passed underneath the hotel. Added to this noise was the elevator that shook every time anyone used it, as well as the sound of folks passing by in the corridor. I think that the hotel is not well built. It is certainly not one of the old charming historical buildings that Paris can offer. The breakfast was not bad, even if a bit pricey; it had a little more than the basic croissant, baguette, and coffee.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel. Yes, the rooms are small by US standards. But hotel rooms are simply smaller in Europe. The bottom line is that the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and this hotel is in a very convenient location. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

Typically small room but newly renovated, thoughtfully furnished, thoroughly functional and nicely ventilated. Also a great location on a quiet street. All in all, better than than the 4 star where I stayed on business the previous 6 nights!

I had an amazing time at agora saint Germain. The only problem with the hotel was the mens working all day long since 9 AM. The staff is amazing, the cafe is really good, the locations is perfect and the room is really cosy. I would suggesst for everybody.

Had already stayed in this hotel a few years ago and could notice improvement in rooms equipment (regretfully the space cannot be.. enlarged, but this is quite common in all hotels in Paris) Excellent the positioning : a few minutes walking from most interesting points /monuments

The location of this hotel is excellent, a few minutes walk from the islands and Notre Dame, longer but do-able walks to d'orsay museum and Pompidou centre. Metro a few minutes away. Close to St Germain and many restaurants in area. The street is quiet but just off the busy rue d'Ecoles. Lots of interesting little streets to explore in the area. The room and bathroom are adequate size, clean and with very comfortable bed and bedlinens. We found staff to be friendly and helpful and breakfast was reasonable. I would stay in this hotel again

My TV broke down as a result of the command box not working. No buttons on TV to adjust if the command box doesn't work. The room was very quiet and the location of the hotel is excellent.

The hotel is in a great location. Aline at the front reception desk was always very helpful and suggested restaurants and a bus tour. Although the room is small by North American standards, it was well equiped with a fridge/mini bar and safe. The TV was wall mounted which provided extra space. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at the Agora. they are in the process of upgrading/remodeling the reception area which I think will make it very nice. The rooms are small but that's not entirely surprising given the building is very old. Besides, we didn't spend much time there. Too much to do! The Agora was very conveniently located especially if you're a walker!

I have stayed in other 3* accommodation in Paris which has been of better quality than this. I think for what is available it is slightly over-priced.
