Date of Stay: June, 2008

- The on the website promoted AC is not working - Dinner is very poor and greasy food. Reheated food. - Some of the receptionists are very unfriendly and not skilled enough to help their guests appropriately. - The residence is far away from the city centre - Very poor wheelchair facilities (especially bathroom is totally not facilitated for people in a wheelchair! - No nearby supermarket. - The on the website promoted television in the rooms is not present. - Plumbing is bad, as the shower/bath/sink kept overflowing. - Chairs on terrace seriously need to be replaced, as most of them are falling apart. However, the room is cleaned every week. Breakfast is ok. Please, consider this above mentioned critique when booking a night in this residence!

Good rooms if you are on a low budget. Good location with excellent views of the neighbouring Tibidabo mountain and even the mediteranean sea. Breakfast very basic may be could improve by adding in yoghurts and fruits, eggs..... Nice and peaceful outside seating area. No hairdryer though. Good powerful shower. A shame that all the rooms don't have a TV. I don't think you should have to pay more to have a TV in the room. On the whole would recommend as very easy to get to the center of Barcelona and guess what the metro has air conditioning which was a pleasant surprise.

While it was a bit far from town, it was three minutes walk from a subway station and the subway system is very good in Barcelona (15 minutes to town). As long as you can put up with two single beds, this is a very clean, friendly and cheap place to stay in Barcelona. Bring your own internet cable if you have a laptop. Breakfasts (included) are great.

This place was perfect for us as we were in a car. It is in a nice area just outside the city but 5 mins walk from the Metro Station. There is ample free street parking and the rooms are exceptionally clean. It is mainly student accommodation and has that feel to it. The breakfasts are good and the staff are helpful.

This was a very nice facility and the staff were very helpful. Though it is not in the city center, the Agora BCN University Residence Barcelona is very close to the Metro (L3 or the green line). It takes about 10 to 15 minutes on the Metro from Mundat (where the Agora BCN is) to Barcelona's center. I would recommend it to friends. The price was great and breakfast was included.

cleanliness, price, location(a little bit far from down town)are quite OK. The connection at internet(by cable!) is from a passed era.At the reception, for check in or any info, it spent half of my "life".

An interesting place to stay because of all the students living there. A minus that the room was not cleaned more than once a week. We had to pay for new towels. The room was very clean on our arrival. A bit far from the centre of the town.

Good hotel. Showerwater was not running away and sink was dirty. After complaining it was better. Location on campus of University is good. Metro stops in neighbourhood. No signs tot the hotel from Metro. Room was basic, not tv and refigerator. But for this price it was a very good deal. They have got a tv room and a poolbiljard and free internet (2 computers. Each room has free internetconnection. Breakfast is included and very good.

I find Agora BCN great in that despite being quite basic, it is spotlessly clean and modern. Pay the extra for a superior room so that its cleaned every day. The simple rooms are a lot bigger and arier than you would get in a budget hotel in Eixample. The location is very pleasant on a leafy campus high above the city. The metro link to the Ramblas and Passeig de Gracia is quick and convenient. Getting back late at night is a bit of a nightmare as none of the taxi drivers seem to know where it is. Perhaps the residence could provide a simple map with everything clearly marked to make this easier.

Not central, but close to metro. Rooms only serviced once a week so take extra towels. Excellent price. Very modern. Like being back at university!

Overall experience is positive and the breakfast is good. The location is a bit remote and is not easy to find after getting off from the Metro station. As this is a university residence, there may be noises from the students staying there once in a while.

I enjoyed my time at the hotel very much. You may feel like living in a nursery school sometime due to noises from students but facilities are very good. However the rooms are not sound proof and we could even hear when the next-door snored. It is only 15 minutes by Metro to Plaza Catalunya. Breakfast is quite good.
