Staff are very nice, and the rooms (we stayed in the new hotel) are clean - if average. The location is excellent, and it's away enough to be quiet.

Quiet, clean, beautiful grounds and very comfortable.

After a much anticipated holiday, we were somewhat disappointed with our visit. We had hoped the rooms we booked in the new hotel part of the resort would be a little "more" than they turned out to be for the price! They were new but with very little other than the beds, dresser etc. like a regular roadside hotel, but with no decorating!

The Bed and Breakfast was a great price but the room was a bit small and stuffy. The staff were very helpful and eager to direct us to the local entertainment. Only complaint: I wish that the pool and hot tub would have been open later than 8pm.

We stayed a total of 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The pool was toasty warm as was the hot tub. The location was ideal as we walked to everywhere. The room was actually two separate rooms in the quiet White Rose building. We had a fireplace in our room, and we heard there were some rooms with jacuzzis in them. The room was clean, clean, clean. We usually stay across the street, but found this location better. We felt like we were not a number here (like across the street), but were welcomed like family. We made reservations for the July 4th weekend.

Weekend getaway with my wife. The staff was very nice and the grounds/room were well maintained. Would visit The Admiral's Inn again.

We stayed in the new hotel room with a great balcony overlooking the pool. Our room also had a fireplace and hot tub. We thought the price was great - only a little more than a standard room. The place was very clean, and the living room area was great. We enjoyed the heated pool very much given not all places had their pools open this time of year. The other guests were really friendly, too. The breakfast was OK, and the location was great. Really close to everything, and only one block to the ocean and one block to the clubs.

The Admirals Inn is a lovely place in Ogunquit Maine. Close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. All walking distance.Part of the Inn used to Totie Fields summer home. She was a Comedian from the 70's.They had a great display case of her pictures and articles on her life. They had a nice firepit to sit around at night and a lovely bar.You could get a light bite also. Wouldn't recommend onion rings (too greasy).Other than that it is a great place to stay

This is our second trip to the Admiral's Inn. We found the place clean, and the folks very friendly. Our room this time was in the new section. Very cozy! We will be back!

relaxing experience, would have liked it a little closer to shore rd, but we took the car & didn't have trouble finding a parking space. we would recommend this to friends who are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay.

We have traveled all over the world, and found this to be the friendly, cleanest place we have ever stayed. The staff went above and beyond was is expected with explaining what to see and how to get there. The office printed out our boarding passes, and made some excellent restaurant recommendations. We stayed in the hotel section in the really large quite room with excellent amenities. The location was ideal being one block from the ocean and Marginal Way. Walking into the center only took a couple of minutes. While they were not open, we counted 4 pools/hot tubs. We also got to meet a lot of other nice guests around the fire pit. (We actually had dinner with the couples later that evening.) We all went back to the inn's lounge which was friendly and relaxing. As we wrote in the comment book - A week at the Admiral's Inn is like a year of therapy!

We were staying overnight to extend a long weekend. When we arrived there was no clear indication where the office was located out of 3-4 different buildings. We were told to go back to the first building after checking in, and wanted to get some ice before relaxing in the room. We searched for a guide or map of the building in the room and found nothing, (and were given an "oh, well" upon mentioning the fact to staff). We then searched the building and found no ice machine. Yet we had a bucket and a refrigerator. We called the front desk and were told the ice machine was in a completely different building! Not very convenient. We then looked around outside while retrieving the ice and found a pool the size of a postage stamp and a hot tub with 6 people in it. We decided to wait until later in the evening for our spa experience. We enjoyed the in-house pub's food offering and had a drink but still found too many people in the hot tub upon our return (looked like they were camped out) so waited until the next morning. We went down again at 7:30 and opened the door to the spa area setting off an alarm. We looked for operation signs/times and found none. We noted beer bottles and cigarette butts scattered around the area. We went back to our room and waited on the line for 5 minutes before getting anyone at the front desk on the phone, and that person was rather surly. We were told the spa didn't open until 9:00, and neither did the pool, the gym or the sauna. Most people start their day a lot earlier than that, especially when checking out at 11:00. I personally wanted to enjoy the hot tub before eating breakfast -- which is not unheard of after sleeping on a very hard mattress. All in all this hotel had a total disconnect with its guests as far as I can see. We were only offered 2 towels in our room for 2 adults to shower and go to the pool with. The room was decorated with furniture obtainable at Salvation Army. Functional, clean and brand new -- but why bother. We

easy location within walking distance to all since parking is limited in town.the room needed to have a window, only because of the bad weather was it acceptible.

We thought the queen size bed would be, well, queen size but it wasn't. The rooms were also very close together and not very private. We did enjoy that the room had ceiling fans and air conditioners. It would have been nice to have a bath tub, but we weren't in the room much anyway. The staff was very friendly and so was the bar staff. We were glad they served food late as many places close early in Ogunquit. The bar was very cozy and inviting. The hotel was also within walking distance of everything you'd want to do in Ogunquit and overall we had a wonderful vacation.

I stayed in the B+B part of Admiral's Inn. They also have two new hotel sections, but the B+B was more intimate for me. Staff was extremely personable and warm. Room was very clean (pleasant surprise). THe Inn has a lot of history so I enjoyed reading all the memorabilia. It was such a nice treat to enjoy continental breakfast on china, not paper plates!!

This was a lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. We walked the beach, saw a lot of old high school friends and was one of the better trips I've taken and one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The only thing that would have made it better is if it were right on the ocean. But was a short walk to the beach and the center of town. I reccomend this hotel to anyone.
