This was the worst experience our family ever had. Tried to cancel when we got there but, non refundable. It was run down and a crowed ill planned parking lot, so tight we were afraid we would get backed into. The room had no outlet cover in the bathroom, patched holes in the wall, holes in the curtains, burns on the cover. At about 10pm the party started, tons of kids drinking, smoking dope and yelling. This went on until 5am. Tried to call the front desk but, the phone didn't work. Girls flipping up their tops and the boys yelling kept us up all night and the staff did nothing. Finally at 5am they went to bed. We left in the morning and had to step over the beer cans and bottles and garbage. If you are not 19 and wanted to just party DON"T STAY HERE.

It was quite close to the falls for a budget hotel, but old and run down. The room was fairly clean, though many stains were evident. The air conditioner was noisy and not very effective. Four guests, but only 3 towels provided. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There are a few hotels near niagara falls where you get what you pay for. And i'm not talking about 3 or 4 star hotels. Affordable comes at a price....comfort. My family and I decided to spend a night in Niagara falls and we wanted something on clifton hill but i can assure you there are some really disgusting, dirty places to stay near the falls on clifton hill, not to mention the fact that you'll be walking out with a big hole in your pocket from the huse sum you just paid. We decided to go a little further away from clifton hill and on to ferry street, and we came across Admiral Inn. It looked big enough and comfortable so we decided to spend a night. They have polite staff and we cracked some jokes. They upgraded us to the honeymoon suite free of charge which was very much appreciated. The rooms were clean and it appeared as if it had just recently been scented. I just wanted to hop on my laptop which btw i always carry with me on trips as i have a ton of movies saved on it and i refuse to pay for any pay per view movies on my trips, I was plesantly surprised when my laptop picked up a wifi connection. I thought it was coming from somewhere else and i knew i wouldn't connect but as soon as i attempted to, it connected instantly! i tell you, the smile on my face was like a little girl getting a pink bike for christmas! They have 2 restaurants within the hotel which serve excellent food. We personally, tried and loved the meditarranean place, although the thaiplace wasn't bad either. Location was great! love our stay, will definetly go back!

At first site, I thought the hotel was in a great location. I booked this hotel for one night after staying at another hotel, to save money during the 4th of July weekend. This was one of the worst decision I ever made. During check in, the staff looked up my reservation and didnt find it. Even though i prepaid through Orbitz. After one hour I decided to call the hotel to confirm the reservation and was told the same thing no reservation. This never happened to me before. I expected an average hotel/motel, but was disappointed with the smell of the rooom and size. I didnt want to even sit on the beds at first. Behind the dresser had trash. The television cablewire was missing the nozzle tip so the reception was poor. I thought the rooms would have been bearable, but after going out and coming back to the hotel, I decided to look for another hotel. And oh boy did i luck up. I never slept at this hotel and never will. I turned my key in the next morning, so they couldnt re-rent the room. I should have stayed where i was and paid the price for peace of mind. P.S. I over heard one of the staff say "Terrible" having leaving one of the room.

This is one of the most reasonable place to stay near the falls and the night life of clifton hill. I went with my 2 kids and our entire experience was just great. we kept going back and forth between the Hill , Falls and back to our room. They even have an excellent shwarma place at admiral inn. from excellent, location, food to service , price and quality, this is the place to be. Sure you could go at a pricier location but be warned, some places near the falls charge an arm and a leg and don't give half the service that these guys do. Had fun.

My wife and I had been planning to go to Niagara falls since last year but never really got the chance, with our jobs and kids. So when we planned our trip, we had to find a place where we could just sit back , relax for a while, a place that was affordable but not "cheap" and more importantly, a place that provided good service. Admiral inn happened to be just the place! We read reviews prior to going there and were sceptical but i guess these guys really shaped up and we didn't find any issues. We were greeted nicely and were shown up to our room. It was clean, with new sheets, bathroom was in perfect condition. We were offered a free lunch coupon as well at one of the closeby restaurants. btw, WIFI was just excellent! we didn;t feel like leaving the hotel room at all. lol. we spent our last night just watching movies and enjoying the hustle and bustle of Ferry street! :) Would love to go back!

i visited niagara falls at the start of this summer and planed in a way that i spend less amount on accomodations and more on activities with my family. admiral inn was the right choice since it was very near to the clifton hill and all the other activities. we had a lot of fun. the motel is nice and the staff is very courteous. we were offered free breakfast at a very decent italian restaurant . it was a very nice hoteling experience. thanks to admiral inn.

My boyfriend and I stayed here recently. The accommodations were great. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean and nice. It was a good sized room and the bed and linens were clean and the bathroom was also very clean. There was a television and a small refrigerator. Another huge plus for us was that they had wireless internet, which was very easy to connect to and fast. The location is perfect, right in the downtown area. It is in walking distance to the falls, many different restaurants and Lundy's Lane (the main road with entertainment, games etc.). It was cold when we were there but since everything was so close we still walked to the restaurant and to see the falls. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Great Place, Good Time!!!!!

I was pleasently surprised when i stayed at this inn.As i started my stay i have nothing but appreciation, the room was clean and on request they got me the microwave and the hairdryer, the front desk was polite and knowledable about attractions and gave us coupons to save money on attractions for my kids. The location is excellent and if i had any issue i asked the front desk and they took care of it,like extra towels or pillows, so all in all it was a vey good stay in a very decent price with free parking and savings on gas help to keep my trip in budget.I will recommend this place and i am planning for a 5 day trip with my extended family and friends. The best tip is good food around and walk to all attractions so lot of savings and do bring in extra film roles as its hard to find nearby.

Good hotel with a fantastic bed, one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in. Very spacious, I spent two nights here and found it to be an excellent hotel. Check in was very straightforward, very welcoming. Standard room was very big with king size bed, nice desk and chair - also a balcony. Bathroom was also a very good size. Very clean and had everything one would want. Free wifi as well which worked exellently. so we were a bit disappointed, but it was the middle of winter, so maybe it's understandable. We checked out the motel restaurant on the first day, but was closed , so we ate out every day. Overall no complaints.

i planned my first date at niagara falls, i decided to book the jaccuzzi suite at admiral inn thinking at a jacuzzi would be a safe bet to impress your girlfriend. it was nice and romantic as expected, the price was also very good. thank you admiral inn, you made my date/

Just like I said, very close to everything, very nice people working, nice rooms, perfect size of the room, I only slept there b/c other times we were exploring the city. We went to many different attractions, and enjoyed everyday different food. We also took trips to fall get the trips from the hotel, a little cheaper then online. Go see Niagara falls in winter, it takes around an 10 min from the hotel. Travel by yourself to many places, it is easy to get around. We were coming home every night around 2am, and were never scared. What else, I loved it. Everything was perfect, and yes we took those pictures. Go and enjoy it. It was my favorite trips in the Niagara falls

I was a bit sceptical to stay here after all the mixed reviews....I wish we'd decided to listen and stay somewhere else! The first room we were given we were told we'd have to "push" on the door a little open it, because of the cold weather. I couldn't open it and neither could my boyfriend, we had to get somebody who worked there to help us....so, they put us in another room.. Which looked like i hadn't been cleaned at all, and smelled like smoke! There was only ONE towel in the washroom....after numerous requests for another, we had to go down and get one ourselves. The cable also didn't work....and we could see other guests TVs were working.....we called 4 times to have this fixed and each time we were told "we'll be right there"......needless to say, it wasn't fixed, wasn't really too surprised by this. Then when we went to check out at 11am, which was the strict check out time...there was a note on the door saying they wouldn't be at the desk until 11:30....there was a long line of unhappy guests wanting to complain as well. So, I thought this forum would be even better....do yourself a favour and pay a couple of extra bucks and stay somewhere else!!!!!

Overall, the experience was fine. The room was clean, but decor outdated. Nothing fancy. Ideal for young singles since the club is right down the street and lots of them stayed here anyway, coming and going at all hours of the night. We stayed in room 133. A king sized bed. It was a fine room, bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. There was a tv with good-terrible reception depending on the channel. There was a working mini-fridge. The bathroom looked recently renovated although there were no towel bars/hooks. We hung our towels over the shower curtain rod. There was also a bit of mildew/mold around the window. The sink was in the main room and it was fine. LOTS of hot water, great shower pressure. Toilet worked great - did not run. Location is great. Our first night we walked down to the falls via "Clifton Hill" which is their name for the main street/attractions. The falls are beautiful at night. The walls at the hotel are definetly thin. We did hear a a lot but found running the fan on the heating/cooling system all night helped to drown it out. We slept fine. Linnens were changed on day #2 and towels replaced. The parking lot is crazy. The spaces are tight and packed together and most of them require you to back out right to the road. Don't bring a big truck to this hotel. Overall, it was a fine experience but we would likely not stay here again. There are LOTS of hotels/motels in this area and we would try another. This is a great place to stay if you are a young single going to party all night as that is what most of the guests seemed to do.

The rooms were clean, the service polite, and I didn't notice any issue with smoking. I think there's been some sort of management change as it is no longer a "Admiral inn." It had all the basic amenities. The room was average size and was comfortable. The price was reasonable and I had no complaints during my stay. But for the price it's definitely worth it. Would stay again the next time I visit my folks

Filthy place. The walls are so thin, you could here the people next door taking a shower, in the tub and in bed. Very Very run down. The pictures shown do not look like this hotel, must be another location. If something fell on the floor we left it and wrote it off, doesn't look like it has been vacuumed or carpets cleaned in years. Very difficult to get extra towels, etc. When going to front desk, hard to find someone working, don't even try to dial "0" to front desk, no one ever answers. Light bulbs out in room also. Not a child friendly place, glad we left our son home this trip. Someone also tried to get into our room, very scary...still not sure if just another guest that was drunk or not. My advise, stay closer in to the Casino. Walking distance to just about everything on the strip. free parking here also. Our advise if you are taking your car, park in the casino lot $* or sign up for the casino card and parking is free. Otherwise, plan to pay $* to park. If walking, it is easy going down the hill, but if you've walked all day, coming up is another story. If you get a package deal, the People Mover is great, it is a bus that takes you between the attractions, free with pass. Duty free shop has souvenirs but no Niagara ones get those while in town, cheapest along Ferry St. Also, only place that you need Candian funds instead of US is the Casino and they will exchange for you. Do not exchange anywhere else, they charge fees.

When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation. When they finally found them they said, with an unfriendly tone "oh, you reserved through an online agency". They gave us a room that was awful. The room smelled like smoke (they claim all the rooms are non-smoking), the bed was broken and linens dirty, the bathroom was simply disgusting. We went back to the main desk and requested another room. The man said "yeah, I knew you wouldn't like that one". What a waste of our time. He gave us another room which was slightly better. The next morning we asked about the free breakfast which is published on their website. The man said "we can't give you free breakfast because the rooms are cheap". Then we request that our room be cleaned. When we arrive at the room that evening they never cleaned it. No clean sheets or towels. We went to the front desk and all they could say was we'll give you a 10% discount for your next visit. No thanks. They offer so much and provide close to nothing.. Don't stay at this hotel. It is dirty, smelly and the staff is rude.
