Date of Stay:
July, 2009
I was there for a short trip & had a good experience during my stay at "Adam's Mark Hotel".
Date of Stay:
June, 2009
It was downtown. The place looked like a cheap motel on the inside.

Stayed for a weekend "dance conference" - Stayed last year it was awful, they promised things were better, but they weren't. When we got home, the department of health sent a survey out because so many people were sick from the weekend. The place is dirty and unkept. The ceiling in the ballroom where the conference was being held was dripping with musty smelling water and at one point the ceiling tiles started falling in on the people in the audience. The only thing I can say is I did not eat there all weekend and couldn't wait to go home and get clean again !!

The pictures of the bi-level suite posted on their website are of their Presidential Suite. The regular bi-level suites are quite small, simply two of their regular rooms with a connecting circular stair, a king room upstairs, downstairs has a pull out couch and office desk, no kitchenette or fridge. Only good thing is you have 2 bathrooms. WARNING... we had suite 645/745 at the end of the hotel that is right next to the 190 highway and the window is not very soundproof. It was like sleeping on the shoulder of the highway and the traffic is non-stop all night.Otherwise the hotel was great, especially the managerial staff at Deco restaurant who went out of their way to seat our party of 53 people for their buffet with only one hour notice.

I was really impressed. Me and my family had a wonderful stay. I would strongly recommend this hotel to those visiting Buffalo.

The settings and the design were nice. There is smell in our room may because of carpet. The booking was under my wife's name and I wasfilling this from because I was with her.

Beautiful hotel. easy to find. I did, however feel like the staff felt we had walked into the wrong hotel. They were polite, but snooty. I also felt that because I was booked thru an online travel website that I wasn't considered of the same caliber as the other guests. I also felt that online travel website customers were tucked away on the 8th floor away from the "real" guests. The beds were very comfortable. This is the whole reason I booked with a higher priced hotel, because I travel many miles and need to sleep well. But, the ceiling showed signs of water damage and there was wall paper damage. Though the decore was updated, the furniture was a bit beat up. I will probably stick with Hampton next time.

The hotel elevators smelled like someone had urinated all over the walls. The internet was down for the three days that I stayed. The hotel's overall impression was pretty poor.

This hotel was very welcoming with a beautiful lobby. The location was very close to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed, though very comfortable, had stained sheets. I called the front desk and they quickly sent up a housekeeper to change the sheets. When checking out the next morning I mentioned the problem to the front desk clerk and they were more than pleased to make a suitable arrangement. I will also mention that the shower head was so low that you would have to be no taller than 5'8" to use it without bending over. The lack of sufficient water pressure aggravated the situation. Mistakes will happen and the way they are dealt with is the true measure of a business. I would probably stay here again.

We found the hotel staff (Doorman,Lobby Desk Clerks,Restaurant Staff and Cleaning Personnel) very friendly and ready to help us. The clear directions and knowledgable suggestions they gave enabled us to find many interesting places in downtown Buffalo. We would definitely stay again in the future.

View of the lake. Cost for parking. The hotel itself was decent however, you have to pay extra for parking which is ridiculous because they have a lot and a garage.

Very comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. Had the Disney channel for the kids. Wished we could have hooked up our DVD player for videos, though. A little noisy with the location right off the highway, but the convenience of the highway made it worth it. Very clean indoor pool, although the heat of the pool water seemed to be cooler during the week. Will stay again.

Location was great. Room was spacious. Couldn't get the phone or the TV to work. Location was great. Room was spacious. Phone didn't work. Couldn't order a movie, despite multiple calls to the front desk.

The Adam's Mark Hotel in Buffalo is a reasonable place to stay. You can walk into downtown in minutes, once you learn to navigate the signals. The staff was friendy and helpful, the restaurant was OK. My room, however, was on the noisy freeway side of the building, and there was a three quarter of an inch gap between the window and the wall, which destroyed the sound insulation of the heavy glass.
