| An adequate budget hotel. Free breakfast was passable. Staff was agreeable. Dorm like rooms reminded me of college. Location is great.
We got bedbugs the first night of our stay and will not be going back. When asked to switch rooms-the staff seemed none too surprised and quickly allowed a switch. |

I read both positive and negative comments about the Acro Hotel Amsterdam but my experience was definitely positive. I really think the location is incredible..its surrounded by a very large park and a short walk to the most important museums in Amsterdam. I rented a bike from the hotel for a modest price. The walls are thin as suggested in some reviews but I don't think the type of clientele they get here are likely to be a problem...they weren't for me. The staff were efficient (not overly friendly but that might be a local thing). The rooms were more than large enough for me but might be considered small by North American standards. I have already recommended the hotel to relatives.

Very nice and convenient located in a quiet area. Even the rooms were small it was just enough space.

Breakfast was the best thing, staff was not very friendly, location is quite good as you can arrive by tram form the train station in 15 minutes and it is close to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum too. There were many people from Spain when we were there. I think it is expensive comparing price/quality

In the Museumplein area (near the Riechsmuseum and Van Gogh Museum), which makes it just outside the most heavily partied in zones of Amsterdam. This makes it ideal for going to those zones and all others. The hotel is very reasonably priced and provides a very tasty cold buffet breakfast.

Bagno con box doccia chiuso (no tenda), pressione dell'acqua ottima anche all'ultimo piano.

the Acro Hotel Amsterdam is very good and we would use again if our travel included a visit to amsterdam. the hotel is in a quiet street near to the museums and is very clean and with a good continental breakfast. it is though some way from the dam and central station, but trams 1, 2 and 5 stop nearby. a taxi should cost 15 euros max. with no luggage you can walk passing many shops and restaurants along the way.

Rooms are really small and stairs steep. But rooms are clean and pretty silent, cold breakfast deceant, wifi free and the price reasonable. We'll recommend.

The room was nice & the bathroom was good, especially considering the budget. The room stank of fags however and the smell was coming in through the airvents in the night from the room next door. The vents were directly above my bed & I woke up a few times choking

Location was perfect, only a short walk to the Leidesplein, central canal belt, Vondelpark and most museums but in quiet, pleasant surroundings. The hotel room itself was small with basic decor, but clean and comfortable, a great base from which to explore the city. Security was good as there was a 24 hour reception and safety deposit boxes. Breakfast was included in the price, basic but lots of food available!

Acro Hotel is located close to many museums, in a very calm neighbourhood. Tramway is 2 minutes away from the hotel, allowing easy access to the center (although it is only 20-25 min away by foot). Service was ok, staff always helpful, breakfast buffet quite good, free & quite fast wi-fi access. Room is not big, but clean, and I guess you can't find much better for this price. The hotel is close to leidseplein, so 2-3 streets full of restaurants & bars are less than 10-15 minutes away by foot. Will definitely go back to the Acro Hotel Amsterdam.

This was the first time that I stayed at Hotel Acro. The room and especially the bathroom was very small. Sheets were ok. Towels could have been newer. But they were clean. Breakfast was satisfactory, but nothing fancy. The location is perfect. Given the location and the price, I think it was a good choice. If you don't want to spend too much and be close to everything, Hotel Acro is a good choice. Of course you can find a better hotel if you are willing to pay more.

A very nice little hotel situated in the heart of A'dam, just in front of the Rijksmuseum. Excellent quality to be of this category (I had in my room TV and hairdryer). It is also possibile to rent a bike at the reception (Euro 8/day). I'll be back again and tell my friends.

This is not the first time I book a room in the Acro Hotel Amsterdam. Now, everytime I can, I take one in the Hotel Acro, I am always sure to be satisfy: lift, room perfect, tv with channels in various langages, very good breakfast and very well situated (to eat for exemple, with Leidseplein just next to it)

Hotel cutre, viejo, incomodo, destartalado y carísimo para lo que ofrece. Lo único positivo: que está limpio y la zona es buena.
