Great getaway, nice clean rooms, friendly staff, had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the pool and the beach, I would reccomend this hotel to everyone I know. We celebrated our 39th Anniversary this weekend, this hotel made it special. We stayed at a well known, pricier hotel on our last visit to Daytona Beach, we enjoyed this hotel more... The room was just as large as the well known pricier hotel, but staff friendlier and rooms were quieter. Will definitely come back.... can't wait...

Good location, excellent staff. Elevators were small and extremely slow. Nice hotel with good amenities.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful room, great service, and blessedly quiet. A 100% improvement over the Hilton at a much better price!

The hotel was great. Our room was beautiful, ocean front, breathtaking view. Kitchenette was handy. All the staff was great. Very friendly all the way from the housekeeping staff to the front desk. The pool was nice and easy access to the beach and ocean. Next time we will probably rent a car, as the public transportation isn't very reliable. Cab service was good though. For rather blindly picking a hotel off the internet, we were very pleased.

Hotel is beautiful and right on the beach- we had an oceanfront room and our children and grandchildren had oceanview rooms. While we have seen better "oceanview" rooms, these were ok. I mean the view of the ocean was verrry limited with a nice view of parking lot. Parking is limited and costs 5 dollars per day. All in all, we had a great time and everyone on staff was very nice to us. Also,do not plan to get there early because it will not do you any good, they will not let you in til 4 o'clock.

Hotel is located in a quieter section of Daytona Beach. First impression of the hotel was very good, until check-in. The employee working at the front desk was not as welcoming as one would hope and did not seem interested in making a good first impression. First problem occurred when our room keys would not work. We had to go back down stairs using the slow elevators to try to get it resolved. It was finally resolved after over an hour of waiting on maintenance. Needless to say, by the time we were able to finally get into our room without waiting on service, the sun had already set and we missed the last of the beach day which was disappointing. Room had a microwave and mini fridge which was nice. Room and balcony were both very clean. We had an ocean front view which looks right out onto the ocean. Beware of the "oceanview" rooms. Most of the "oceanview" are located on the side of the building with a parking lot view staring at a huge condo building. Ocean front is the only way to go if you are looking to enjoy the balcony and ocean. Has a restaurant on site, but NEVER saw any guests in there so doubted their food. Tiki bar was only open for a few hours one day out of three and was kind of a joke. Both hot tubs/jacuzzis outside were not even warm, lights did not work, jets non-existent, and did not seem sanitary. Plenty of lounging chairs (piled on top of one another) and pool was a good size. Beware of per day parking fees and in-room safe fee even if not used. Will remove safe fee if complain at check out. Decent overall.

Recently remodeled, the hotel is clean, well located, and a good value. Slow elavator, but safe. Warm pool protected from wind on the beach. Good free cold breakfast. Need transportation to enjoy local restaurants and pastimes. Traffic noise on sides of hotel, I reccomend a oceanfront room for peace and quiet. Slightly higher price for oceanfront. Friendly staff.

Hotel was great! Everyone from the staff to the guests were extremely friendly. Also, the weather was superb. No complaining from this family! The breakfast bar was wonderful and so were the beds, some of the most comfortable I've been in. You can't beat this place for the price. I would definitely go back!

Maids were very helpful and friendly, the bath and body works soap and shampoo. The hotel carpets in the room were dirty. This is a OK hotel. The free breakfast was great. Had cereal, bagels, cream cheese, toast, jelly, grits, oatmeal, and fruit. They had bath and body works name brand shampoo, soap and lotion. I loved that! Don't usually see name brand soaps and etc in hotels.

I should have known it was too good a deal to be true - a clean, modern, friendly hotel on beautiful Daytona Beach for a very reasonable price. Even though I knew the managemnt would charge 5 per day for parking (a little tacky for a 100+ per nite room) I was totally unaware of the other, "ADDITIONAL REVENUE PRODUCING CHARGES" these BANDITS would charge until I received my "GUEST FOLIO" @ checkout --- 1.50 per day for a safe inside my room (which I did not request nor use) and THE BIG ONE --- 102.88 charge for two long distance intrastate calls lasting an average of 18 minutes each. As a result, my additional charges (including the 99 cents per local call) for my stay were 155.13.

Enjoyed the whole stay. The staff was nice and responsive if you had a problem. Would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed the pool and Tiki bar. Nice to have breakfast available in the morning.

The roof did not leak. Not up to 3 star standards in my opinion. Very disappointed.

Great value for the money. Hotel newly renovated so everything was clean and neat. Staff was friendly and helpful and there was always someone around night and day. Clean and right near the beach. Beds were a little lumpy but overall room clean and comfortable and quiet. No restaurant because cook quit but free continental breakfast was adequate. Charges for parking and safe seemed unnecesary but not outrageous. Would stay here again.

Balcony with ocean view, has microwave and fridge. Very comfortable beds and average continental breakfast. Small bathroom, small, slow elevators and charged $5 for day to park.

Would like to see hotel eliminate the */day parking for paying customers. At an average of */night, we shouldn't have to pay to park. Also, would like to see hotel offer on-site dinner at their "bar & grill". When you've been out on the beach or on your motorcycle all day, you really don't feel like going out anywhere to find something to eat. Other than the above, I would definitely return and would recommend to others.

Very nice, clean room, pretty hotel, and friendly staff. Elevator a little slow, maids came a little late on the Sunday we were there. My husband, daughter and I stayed over Mother's Day weekend. We had chosen this hotel based on location, price, and what I had read in other reviews. I was more than satisfied with this choice everything was nice, clean, and the staff was great. We even ended up with a bigger room than we had paid for. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bath, and body products were nice. The continental breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. The only thing that could be improved was the slowness of the elevator (which I already knew about before booking from other reviews) but it didn't bother us too much. Also, the Sunday we were there the maids came a little later than expected. However, the good things about this hotel greatly out weight these two things by far.

The Hotel web site says the rooms have an Ocean view. If you are on the South side you have a view of the large condos opposite. When I spoke to the manager he was rude and threatening telling me to, "Leave", and "Do what I like". The staff repeat there is a view when there is clearly not so they are used to complaints about it. The Wifi did not work in the rooms all the time I was there. I would not stay there again.
