you have to walk quite a bit to get to main attractions. i was thinking it would be near notre dame area, it is not. great price, cant expect to be in the heart of paris attractions. great hotel...brazilians welcome!

I like this hotel very much as the perfect location, I will come back to this hotel when I travel again in Paris.

Good straightforward hotel. Simple to find in a good area for finding bars, cinema, etc. Very helpful staff when I had to stay another night at very short notice.

The hotel failed to meet any of the criteria set in the appointed description and had "creative" use of very old photographs. It was small, extremely old, smelled like dead rodents, and had rat droppings on the bathroom floor. There is no parking for the hotel, the appointed garage is suspect at best and very expensive, even by Paris standards.

Bathroom is renovated and very clean, but the bedroom has old mattress, carpets and bed lines. Not to stay comfortable a long stay.

The hotel is very well situated (only 2 minutes away of two tube stations - Montparnasse and Saint Placide.) Our room was at the back of the building which was perfect as Rue de Rennes can be quite busy. It was clean, of reasonable size and came with a newly refurbished bathroom. The staff was friendly. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Hotel staff are quite friendly and are willing to help. In terms of location, it is convenient as it is very closed to the underground train station.

Location is great. Room rate through Laterooms was very reasonable for Paris. Included wireless internet access worked well. Really liked the traditional wooden desk in the room.Thank you for being traditional and not following the modern hotelier fashion of having a single--impossible to sleep under-- doona as a bed cover. Really appreciated having blankets that can help find a comfortable temperature. On the minus side, our room was very small-- others looked a bit larger. Pillows mighty hard. It would be great to have better pillows. Yellow paint in room a bit loud for my taste.

brand new clean bathroom, clean sheets, however dirty walls which could do with a lick of paint, otherwise fine. nice balcony with view of street area. it's located near metro stops and the local shops are good and you find most things near by.

This was a great place to stay. My son and I were treated very well by the staff and the room had everything we needed although it was a little hot (a fan was provided) and even on the 6th floor the traffic noise was considerable. The metro and buses are only a few steps away and there are shops and cafes in the area, including (dare I say it!) a MacDonalds for those "hungry child" moments of panic!

Good location near to Montparnasse Tower with good choice of shops, restaurants and bars close by. Hotel was a short walk from the nearest Metro station, but was also located within walking distance of main tourist attractions.Room was of reasonable size with newly refurbished bathroom. Lift was available but access was located on stairway. Hence, care was needed when using lift.

This place was fantastic, close to everything aswell as close to the metro, restaurants and shops. The room was quiet and newly refurbished and was cleaned everyday. Great place to stay, will definately stay here again.

The hotel was very well located close to Montparnasse. The room was clean but very shabby with ripped bedcovers and in dire need of being repainted. The lift was verging on the dangerous as it opened strainght onto the middle of the flight of stairs with a very small footplate. The shower screen was too small so that when you had a shower the whole bathroom floor got wet. It was good value for money if you paid the discounted rate throught laterooms website but had I been paying the full price I would have been very unhappy.
